Very friendly and helpful people and great location.

Not a major but only two power points in room, with all our devices that needed charging…. we managed with a bit of a juggle.

10 minute walk from Torquay railway station. The amazing warm welcome from the lovely hostess, followed soon after by the lovely host , both friendly, polite and inviting. Room had everything we needed, ensuite quite small but did just the job. Unavoidable but loud cars and motorbikes late at night so secondary double glazing has been installed which blocks out any noise, add to this, very thoughtful, a fan is supplied in case having the window shut is too hot. Mini fridge in room. Comfy bed, bedside wall lights,2 hairdryers, shampoo and body wash supplied Optional breakfast, great value at £10 for extremely tasty full English, toast , coffee, fruit juice, cereals plus the most delicious homemade yoghurt with fruit and muesli. Both hosts came to check if the food was ok...which it was. If we return to Torquay, which is likely, would choose this establishment again

Nothing to dislike

We had the family ground floor room which was nice, looks out at the rear lane of the property. A double bed and a single bed in the room and it was handy to have a couple of nice chairs to sit in, a fan, cushions, and coffee making facilities, plus a fridge. The hosts were incredibly polite, helpful and approachable and seemed to genuinely care about us having a lovely stay, nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast was wonderful, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh homemade yogurts. The room was presentable, clean, warm (a bit too hot at times, but better that than too cold!, and the window does open quite wide if you want to). Location is good. There is parking behind the property, but only a few spaces, on a first come first served basis. It's a short 10 minute walk to the sea. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, shame about the weather but it's one of those things!

Good location , within walking distance of the promenade and town centre. Hosts were superb, friendly, helpful ,cheerful. Room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean. Wide choice for breakfast 😋

Parking , a bit tight for me.

Excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Very central. Few minutes walk to the seafront.

Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Car parking was a great bonus especially as the hotel was so central to the places we had to visit.

Cannot think of anything that we did not like. Our expectations were more than met at an excellent price.
