Likuri Island Resort Fiji

the staff was superb, the place super homely, rooms spotless, and I would come back again to this little slice of paradise! The fireshow and dancing was outstanding, and the included activities on the island were fun

Improvements - the full board menu is a bit overpriced for what it is, and we got a bit bored of it by the third day. In hindsight, Would have preferred to do half board menu and choose our own ala carte lunch but the ala carte menu was small and boring (no Fijian dishes just basic burgers, sandwiches etc). It would be nice to see a better variety. Spa was lacking the equipment for the job. Had my nails done but there were not even proper clippers or cuticle tools.

We had a fantastic stay at Likuri Island. Staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and the island is stunningly beautiful. Great meals, activities, and entertainment. Special shoutout to Mila, the manager on duty, for going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable!

We had trouble booking our meal plan in advance but were pleasantly surprised to be able to pay easily with card on arrival.

Fantastic place to stay if you want a quiet cultural experience. The staff are extremely friendly and the resort feels like a small village. Lots of activities that you can either participate in or just relax. We stayed in a Beachfront Bure. These are larger and air conditioned. Very comfortable. A fantastic on the front verandah is a great touch as is the private outdoor shower. The night show showcases Polynesian dancing including knife and fire and it really good.

We cannot say enough positive about this great little resort. It is completely focused on Fijian culture. They pick you up at their private Riverside jetty for a 20 minute trip down the river and out to the island, which is an added cool benefit. Before you even step on the island there are two or three people singing to you and playing guitar in their native language. They take your bags by hand and walk them to your private Bure (hut) as you check in. Each meal is open air buffet centered around the small open entertainment arena. The fire show at night is absolutely incredible. What's most amazing about this place is that each of the staff has four or five different roles that they each play because they are part of the whole resort family that works there. When we were there, there was a maximum of maybe 20 other guests, but they do bring in some day trippers that enjoy what the island has to offer as well. It never seems at all crowded. Kayaking is free, as is the boat trip out to the local reef for snorkeling. We couldn't be happier that we booked this place, and it is an incredible value as well. If you are looking for true Fijian culture, hospitality and kindness, you have to check this place out.

While the water is super calm, it can get a bit cloudy and sometimes leaves and debris show up on the shore. They are diligent about cleaning it as best they can though.

Das besonders freundliche und immer engagierte Personalteam der Insel hat mir sehr gefallen :) Das vielfältige Angebot an unterschiedlichen Aktivitäten, die man freiwillig dort immer machen konnte täglich waren sehr vielfältig, sodass einem selbst auf einer kleinen Insel Langeweile ein Fremdwort ist. Durch die offene Gestaltung beim Essen konnte man sich sehr gut mit unterschiedlichen Menschen unterhalten und anfreunden. Besonders als Alleinreisender war man dort nie alleine :))

Das Essen war wirklich gut auf der Insel. Ich hätte mir nur manchmal etwas mehr Varianz gewünscht. Aber das Essen war trotzdem immer sehr lecker.

I had a wonderful stay in my beachfront bure. True to its name, it is just a few steps from the beach. It has a private outdoor shower with good water pressure as well as air-conditioning. You can do as much or as little as you like at Likuri. There are daily activities from Fijian cooking demonstrations to bula dancing lessons. Don't miss out on the spectacular cultural shows on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights, especially the fire dancing! If you're not feeling social, the front porch loungers are a great place to laze and read. There is no electricity and everything runs by generator. It's a great opportunity to put your phones down and go off-grid. The staff are warm, friendly and hospitable. You eat at set times, which means that the buffet food is always freshly cooked. The sunsets are spectacular. And you end the day in a comfortable bed as the waves sing you to sleep. What more could you want from a holiday?

The locks on the back door and the door to the outdoor shower occasionally got stuck.

One of my best trips ever, lovely staff, very caring and hospitable. they made me feel like home, great amusements you can participate like coconut jewelry making, nature walking, lots of lovely Fijian dances, fire dance and kawa to see and enjoy, for free and other self-care plans like massage and cornrow hair doing (at extra charges), yet you will have for yourself to enjoy the sun and beach and also nature in the island. I have booked garden bure which is good for couples but if you need more privacy and quietness go for islands accommodations options

*Compulsory meal plan which lady manager helped me with so I just paid for breakfast and dinner only and not lunch *Lots of noisy kids around

La bure est mignonne, il y a une bonne ambiance et les animations et activités sont géniales, la nourriture était très bonne

Pas de Clim dans les bures, et la plage était pleine d’algues, c’était difficile de s’y baigner, c’est dommage car la piscine était aussi en maintenance
