My hosts, John and Anne were as friendly and helpful as ever. The room was very comfortable, with a few luxurious touches. Most importantly, for me, was that it was very quiet.

Nothing to complain about.

It was beautiful! One of the nicest bnbs we’ve ever stayed in - lovingly restored throughout but very comfortable. Anne &John were wonderful hosts - friendly and relaxed and the breakfast was superb (best poached eggs we’ve had for a long while!). This is a definite ‘keeper’ next time we need somewhere to stay in Eastbourne.

A Period Property decorated tastefully. Our room also in fact the whole of the accommodation was everything one could ask for. Exceptionally Clean . Our wonderful hosts John & Annie could not have made us more welcome. Our exceptional breakfast with home made preserves /muesli /granola. Plus a cook breakfast again was everything one could ask for. So much so we have already booked to return in 2025.

There was not anything we did not like and we have absolutely no complaints

This property is in a great location - close enough to walk into the city of Eastbourne, and restaurants/cafes, but in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The room we had was a generous size and it was well equipped. There was a good selection for breakfast and it was beautifully presented. The hosts were friendly and very helpful with suggestions of things to see and do in the area.

The water pressure in the shower wan’t great, but is was OK.

The moment John and Annie opened the door to their sumptuous house, I knew we had chosen well. The house is spacious and spotlessly clean and there are original features galore. Annie and John are a delightful couple who just want their guests to have a wonderful stay... and we certainly did. Our room was huge and furnished beautifully. The little fridge was very useful and the cookies and chocolates much appreciated! The bathroom was very spacious with two sinks, a free standing shower and a large bath, plus there were robes and footwear for guests should they want them. I love the location of the house, so peaceful yet just a short walk to town, theatres and the beach. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with a great choice of hot or cold options, plus an enormous fruit bowl which we were invited to help ourselves to at any time of day. Without doubt, the best B&B we have ever stayed at and we hope to return soon, but next time it will be for longer as two nights was simply not long enough! Thank you John and Annie for sharing your lovely home, it was a privilege to meet you both.

Couldn’t stay long enough.

Everything about our stay was exceptional, from the warm welcome, to the exquisite furnishings including the huge brass bed and hand embroidered quilt, to the quiet and convenient location. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for our charming hosts. In a word, everything was faultless.

Nothing, it was all fabulous!

We loved everything basically - especially the home cooked breakfast in my case. The couple running the place are delightful and very helpful. Highly recommended. You can park easily in front of the house too.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 - apart from the fact that nothing is perfect in life - is that, living in France, we find prices in England rather high, this is not a comment on their prices in particular.
