Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very excellent. Log fires in lounges really appreciated.

Food generally very disappointing. Cooked breakfast, particularly the bacon mediocre. Dinner overpriced for the quality provided.

Food generally over priced. Breakfast was awful. We were refunded due to the inedible nature of the food.(Breakfast only)

The staff really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The room was first class. Most definitely will be staying here again

Evening meals were superb, service in the dining room was excellent most nights. The bed was comfortable and the room mostly quiet.

Breakfast felt very rushed with cooked breakfasts brought before I had finished my cereal then taken away and kept warm this included poached eggs. Bacon was undercooked the fat was still white. I found I was unable to use the bar lounge and the conservatory because of all the wet dogs, there were six in the lounge and three in the conservatory. My clothes ended up covered in dog hair from the chair in my room. There was no information in the room unless you downloaded an app. Consequently my towels weren't changed despite leaving them on the floor. The bathroom radiator was brown where the hand wash had dripped on it and not been cleaned off. The carpet by the bathroom door was very frayed and the room was very small.

Super breakfast, comfy beds, welcoming staff, great parking, relationship with spa down the road was a nice bonus.
