The staff at this hotel were really wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to all the major attractions. Restaurant has an amazing breakfast and a great dinner as well. Lovely stay.

Bathroom configuration is a bit weird.

Fin beliggenhed Smilende personale. God bar og restaurant.

Rengøringen var dårlig. Altanen kunne være virkelig god hvis de satte nogle ordentlige stole og et lille cafe bord derud. Dårlig rådgivning, af den skæggede medarbejder i receptionen. Spurgte om bedste måde at komme til Aviero med tog. Han kunne skaffe en taxa til 20€ til stationen ( campanha). Det viste sig så at Sao Bento stationen med direkte forbindelse lå 5 min. Væk til fods.han ville også have betaling ved ankomst selvom alt var betalt på forhånd.

We had a wonderful stay at PortoBay Teatro. The first thing that impressed us was the interior – it is tastefully minimalist, clean, and not overcrowded, which created a very relaxing atmosphere. ​The service here is truly top-notch. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even assisting us with our luggage and showing us how everything works in the room. Throughout our stay, the staff was always ready to help with any request we had. ​Our room faced the street, but we were pleasantly surprised by the soundproofing – it was perfectly quiet inside. The shower is modern and everything was in great working order. The only small detail to note is that the windows do not open; while the air conditioning works well, the air can feel a bit still at times. ​The breakfast was excellent. As someone who appreciates variety, I was happy to find plenty of vegetarian options, along with delicious hot dishes and traditional Portuguese sweets. ​The location is simply superb. Almost everything is within walking distance, so we barely needed to use the metro. It is a perfect base for exploring Porto. ​Overall, a very "cool" and professional hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
