Broadlands Hotel - Adults Only

perfect for us!

We stayed at Broadlands for a two night stay while meeting friends. We received a friendly welcome from the owners on arrival and during the evening we drank in comfortable the bar area. On both mornings we had the most delicious breakfast served in the conservatory. Overall the stay was excellent value in a super location close to the centre of town.

I have mixed feeling about my stay. Overall the staff were great, really friendly and helpful recommending great places to eat and things to do in the village and surrounding area. The location is also amazing, 2mins walk to the village and in a really quite area. The rooms are nicely decorated as well and the breakfast is delicious and really filling. However the walls are paper thin, you can hear every toilet flush and conversation from your neighbours either side. They recently upgraded their boiler which unfortunately means you can either have scolding hot or cold water, there is no in between. In the end me and my friend who stayed in another room took baths as showers which just resulted in us burning ourselves. We did mention it and it was checkout out but nothing came of it.

We were met with a warm and welcoming smile by the owner, it is a beautiful small quaint hotel. we chose a suite which was lovely, the breakfast was a 10 /10 It’s a family run business and everyone was absolutely wonderful. We were only a 2 minute stroll into the village of Bourton on the water. Would I return to this hotel, yes time and again

We liked the location and the breakfast. Our room was pretty small and smelled like perhaps somebody had smoked there before, which was too bad. The staff and owner were very nice and made us feel welcome.

Terrific location - few steps into town. Very welcoming, family run hotel. Best breakfast in the Cotswolds! And a bonus to have on-sight parking. Great value for money.

Was very different to the photos as advertised. Had a room in the back facing the car park which was supposed to be superior. The taps in the bathroom were leaking and required serious turning to reduce the dripping. Cleanliness was below par. The photos which say view from property we cannot understand how in any way this could be the case as the property is a few streets back from the water. Disappointing.
