Lovely building Friendly staff Very clean

Cold in the bar in the evening asked for fire to be on but they didn't oblige Breakfast wasn't included if you want a English breakfast which is poor when most places include it in the price . We had breakfast anyway it was delicious but paid xtra

Quaint as in very old inn that was clean with an old world charm to it. What was not appreciated is the dogs that are allowed in the restaurant. We had a dog begging for food next to us. It's also a matter of it being a health issue. At dinner three different dogs in and around us. None of these could we determine were service dogs. I should've black lighted our room to determine dog urine through out the room. It was late and the room was already paid for months in advance. so we bit our lips and stayed.

Location was fab - as was the breakfast / lunch and the welcome of the staff. The atmosphere was very warm and cosy.

The only small issue is the road was rather noisy.

No customer service. Only cereal for continental. When I asked if there was any fruit, I was offered an apple or orange from the kitchen. No fruit juice, etc. Just before breakfast arrived, so did the cleaner who started to hoover. So I was unable to eat it and left. Tables were sticky from the night before.

Customer service, cleanliness, earlier start times. Cleaner actually cleaning before guests sit down for breakfast, not whilst they are eating it. Disgusting. Varied items for continental.

Questo hotel è un angolo di paradiso immerso nella campagna inglese. Ho adorato l arredamento si delle camere che del pub dove ho anche cenato....la pie era deliziosa!!!! La colazione è a scelta da un menù e devo dire tutte cose molto buone. Lo consiglio a tutti soprattutto se piacciono gli hotel nella natura (la mia sveglia è stata la mucca nel pascolo appena fuori la mia stanza...bellissimo)

Friendly welcome with good quality food available throughout the day. Good sized room with comfortable bed. Short drive to Piece Hall in Halifax where I saw the amazing Faithless 👏

Really well presented bar and hotel rooms.

If i have to say anything it was the breakfast took a while.to come out

Friendly staff and lovely building. The room was spacious, beamed and bright with views from the windows of the surrounding countryside.
