The property was lovely and convenient. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable. We love that they are so welcoming of dogs: they even gave us a little box with biscuits, a ball, and poo bags. The food in the pub was delicious, the staff were very friendly. We have absolutely nothing negative to say.

The staff coped admirably considering it was Christmas day and packed.

A younger member of staff maybe needs some extra training in hospitality. A smile goes a long way too.

Old world charm with a traditional feel. Log fires and oak beams. Christmas decorations were really lovely. Good menu for dinner and a great choice of options for breakfast. Staff were lovely too.
