The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast had exceptional choice and was bought to the table quickly and always very warm. The bar food was good value for money and staff attentive to make sure you were satisfied with your meal. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the lake. Very clean and beds very comfortable. Had a great night's sleep. Location is perfect for the local attractions buses, boats and organised tours from Windermere.

Not bike accommodating and check-in is the bar. At peak times can be quite difficult to navigate

The staff were attentive and very friendly. The property was very clean with attractive decor. The location was just a 10 minute walk to the boating lake and less than 5 minutes to some of the town's amazing shops. The food was absolutely delicious.

The breakfast selection included in the room rate was very poor. Almost everything available was sweet, and by 9:00 am around half of the items had already run out. The bathroom door squeaked so loudly that it woke my child while he was sleeping. Every time we tried to open or close the door, the squeaking noise was unbearable. The children’s bunk bed also squeaked very loudly with even the slightest movement. Because of this, my husband and I were unable to sleep on the first night. We eventually had to take the mattress off the bed and place it on the carpet. Only then were we able to get a good night’s sleep for the remainder of our stay.
