Estepona Hotel & Spa Resort

Liked that it’s very nice overall, clean and helpful staff. Didn’t think the dinner ( we were half board) was very well thought out, the grill queue was far to long and the food on offer needed a bit more thought and variety.

Nice hotel, breakfast and dinner were good, BUT , we paid extra for two one bedroom suites only to find out that it has 2 floors with wooden spirel stairs, and when sitting downstairs in the main area, every time you need the bathroom, you have to climb the steep stairs, so we asked the front desk for a one level room, they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite, but the big problem was that it was located right over the hotels restaurant which meant banging and LOUD noises ALL night long in preparation of the meals. Room number was 1009, so stay away from that area. The beach is rocky, no real sea access, pools are nice with cold water. Not a bad stay but not a cery good one for the steep price.

Fantastic off season couples mini break just outside Estepona. You need a car and off season free street parking was not a problem as the hotel was quiet. Peek times you’d need to pay to use the hotel’s underground parking but not a bad thing in the summer heat. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful grounds and views and the beach at the bottom of the gardens. The best of both worlds. The only disappointment was the rather un-Spanish alcohol servings when ordering spirit drinks. Possibly they err on caution due to some guests over indulging in tjenall inclusive option?!? We had an amazing roof top room with an enormous terrace. Highly recommendable. Get out and see Estepona, explore The backstreets and get up into the mountains and see Casares in the late evening light.

Overall the stay was great! One waitress was a little annoying, questioning whether the room number that I gave her several times was really mine? But remaining staff far made up for her insolence, it also would be nice if the bar would stay open beyond midnight. However the stay was great and the amenities for family (kids) and adults were awesome!

Hotel was booked wrongly by a member of expedia. It lacked facilities, activities, maintenance. The breakfast wasn't very good either.

This was a great hotel about 30 mins from the Rock of Gibraltar. Nice hotel, Pretty setting. A little disappointed that we couldnt see the water when sitting on our balcony. We had a concret wall surrounding the balcony.

Good family resort with lots of facilities. Large clean room and friendly staff

Nice hotel, clean and modern with great rooms. Very close to the beach, but with excellent pool and bar facilities. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Great food and massive buffet breakfast. The only thing this time were that the seem to have new bar staff who weren’t good at making cocktails (small issue!) as it was one of the highlights last time we stayed there. Note that there aren’t many restaurants near by, and you may need to take a taxi into Estepona.
