"Good base to stay"

8.0

East coker is a lovely location and an ideal base. Parking good.

Bar staff a little unwelcoming at dinner time but clearly under pressure on a busy night.

"It was adequate."

We didn't have breakfast. The location was really good & particularly enjoyed the inns garden.

Pillows weren't good. There was no substance, firmness at all.

"Superb"

This is a great little country inn located at the heart of a sublimely beautiful village. The food is exceptionally good (both in quality and value), and the staff very friendly and a credit to the place. Sure, a few minor maintenance and decorating issues could be addressed, but I would not want to overstate their importance. I would definitely stay again and probably will.
