Very friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome. Evening meal was very good quality food and very reasonably priced. Great to have bottled water in the room.

Mattress was not as comfortable as I would have liked.

"Charm & chimes"

Great, professional service, welcoming and as expected. Food was excellent with varied choice rom was quirky as old building, bedding soft, bathroom ideal for us. Dogs were welcomed and place was very busy yet we were looked after well. Could walk dogs and had front door key. Generally quiet village...could see the stars as no light pollution.

Some smokers out front in the night (02:40) and a little noise as they went to bed, (water pump to bathrooms?), then the church bells chimed at 3a.m! Didn't hear anything after that until 6 (our dogs) and a very distant cock crowing. Lovely sounds of real life and the countryside, so had some charm about it. Definitely nothing to complain about.
