Grand Hotel de la Poste

Typical old French low standard hotel. Very small room in the cellar, shower fits for skinny people, difficult to get a parking lot.

The 1st night we spent in a very small room with a very small bathroom. The courtyard was quiet until 2 French men visited it at 3am, laughing loudly and smoking under our open window (which had to be open because all air-conditioners were shut down. They ignored my request for peace this late at night. The 2nd night we were offered a slightly larger room with ditto bathroom. It was however on the street side. And that's what we found out because this window had to be open as well. It was especially loud at 4am when the crowd left the bars screaming loudly until 5am, honking their cars and motorbikes :-( The staff were very friendly and the hotel was located near restaurants which was nice when it started pouring. But we definitely cannot recommend this hotel! Sorry...

It is a budget hotel, so don't expect much. It is convenient to the train station. The entry and lounge are very nice. The exterior looks inviting. The rooms are very small with tiny bathroom, but clean. The beds were not very comfortable. The walls were thin, the shower very tiny and slippery. The staff was very gracious and helpful.

l accueil pourrait s améliorer significativement. Impossible d obtenir un chocolat chaud à 18h00 pour cause de machine à nettoyer à nouveau...si utilisation. Douche exigue avec peu de pression.

This is a charming little hotel in the middle of Vienne. It is perfectly located next to the train station and in the middle of town. The building is old but well-kept and the owners are really nice! Since it is an old building, many renovations were performed to improve comfort and accessibility. It is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Vienne.

Gute Lage

Where to start...it is a maze to get to your room,but managed to find it.Very rare we stayed in such a bad room,it needs a major update.Now,the bathroom was barely functional.Shower had you'd have to hold it,and it was tiny,tiny.We let the reception know and was offered to go shower in another room???? The have a coffee maker in the lobby,and they keep an eye on you not to get more than one.Come on! Customer service was almost inexistent,upon departure,I talked to the manager who did not offer any compensation,nor a so sorry for the fact that the bathroom could not be used properly.Beautiful town though,with good restaurants and saturday market.

Hôtel situé dans le centre de Mâcon, c’est très appréciable pour visiter la ville historique. La décoration est très sympathique ! Et le petit déjeuner était super avec des produits frais et régionaux. J’ai apprécié la réduction fournie pour le parking de la gare situé à proximité de l’hôtel. Le seul bémol : la taille de la douche et équipé d’un rideau.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, man kann von dort aus zu Fuß die Stadt erkunden. Das Gebäude selbst ist alt und ist auch von der Ausstattung her in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings sauber! Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und von den Produkten her qualitativ wertig, allerdings gab es um 9 Uhr kein Baguette mehr und es wurde auch keins beschafft. Und das in Frankreich!!??? Man muss dazu sagen, dass es keine Alternative dazu gab, sondern ausschließlich süße Sachen wie Früchtebrot, Kuchen etc.! Das fand ich nicht sehr kundenfreundlich! Ansonsten war das Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir haben die Buchung storniert und waren somit gar nicht in dem Hotel. Nicht schön, dass die Stornierung nicht kostenfrei möglich war und wir den vollen Preis zahlen mussten.
