"Big rooms, no AC"

Hotel is in walking zone, so you’ll need a little bit of a walk to park your car - you’re on your own there. Rooms were large and generally comfortable. Bed and couch included. There was an out of season heat wave going and sadly no AC was available. That’s my only complaint. Definitely walk over to see the Roman amphitheater.

"Amazing hotel in cit6 centre"

Hotel was totally superb, hidden away in city centre with garage parking and so peacefull. Breakfast is a must. Will return.

"Quiet comfort in a market town"

Brief 2 nights in Saintes at this perfectly located hotel. Hidden in the old streets of the town, a modern interior hotel with comfort and cleanliness making it a perfect stopover.

"Overnight stopover"

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pre-paid and the receptionist phoned at 8pm to offer us a code for access if we were going to arrive after 9pm. We arrived at 8.40pm and just managed to get in the garage which was then secure for the night.

"Interesting place for a stop-over"

We stayed overnight here whilst driving from the Algarve to Cherbourg. It's right in the centre of the old town which makes it easy to see something interesting after a long drive. There is a car park which you have to book. Everyone very friendly and all spoke excellent English.

"The best hotel in Saintes. "

The best option, definitely the best hotel in Saintes. I was given the room No 23, which was very spacious and accommodating. The staff was extremely friendly - everyone spoke English. The location was just perfect. Right in the middle of many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was available at a very affordable price. Definitely will stay here again.

"Good value for money in the heart of town"

Reception staff were very good organising a parking space for us. Room was comfortable and quirky though the shower had no curtain or door so tended to spray out all over the bathroom floor.

"Overnight stay enroute to Caen4"

Good location and clean with safe parking. Unfortunately, we my wife suffers with a spinal injury and our room was up 4 flights of stairs and we were unaware that there was no lift

"O/night stop"

Very good overnight stop on way to South (Pau). Friendly reception : good recommendation for dinner. Secure (at cost) parking. Pleasant old town to stretch legs
