Très propre. Chambre refaite sans doute depuis peu. Terrasse agréable pour petit déjeuner buffet très copieux.

The pool and main building are very attractive; breakfast was good. Annex room a little run-down and dated and suffered from noise from the adjacent gravel car park; it was impossible avoid this as the window had to be open due to the lack of air conditioning.

What a beautiful building, couldn't ask for a better setting, very warm outdoor pool, rooms are getting a bit tired, but for the money excellent value, breakfast pretty good and plentiful

Point de départ parfait pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire... sans omettre celui peu connu de Montreuil Bellay situé à 100 m de l'hôtel.

Superbly located hotel with excellent facilities in this compact Loire château town. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi, snooker and fitness room are all well maintained and justify the slightly higher price. I can only comment on the Deluxe room which was large and comfortable with a superb bathroom but otherwise not much else except a fantastic view of the Château de Montreuil-Bellay. The breakfast was very good by French hotel standards and, at £6 each, outstanding value for money! All the staff we met were delightful and helpful and the WiFi, although a bit variable generally worked as well as many other hotels I have used. The only minor issue, which applies equally to any and all hotels in Montreuil-Bellay, is the church bells which chime throughout the night on the half hour - you pay for that fantastic view with sleep as well as Euros...but it's worth it!

Beautiful hotel and location. Friendly helpful staff made us feel welcome. No restaurant but a number of places to eat in village. Although adequate the bathrooms are in need of an update to match the overall quality of the hotel and stunning location.

Very basic room, small and with sparse facilities. Hair dryer in room, but mirror in bathroom. 3 star hotel, but not even drink making facilities available. Bed reasonably comfortable, though mattress protector made me sweat. Pillows very thin and only one each - had to bolster them with folded towels. Could find only one useable power point in the room and that had a 3 point adapter. Had to unplug the TV when I needed the hair dryer. Staff very helpful and always available. The hotel was based in a 17th century manor house and it had retained a lot of it's charm and character.
