It was clean, comfortable, & ideally located. However, there was the strong smell of cigarette smoke coming through the vents from neighboring rooms. I complained & asked for a different room. They visited my room, & told me they didn't smell anything. So, they did nothing about it. I did not have this problem the last time I stayed there. I'll probably stay there again, as the location is ideal. But they did not take my complaint seriously. Also, the WiFi connection was very slow.

Big bleak Soviet block, but a relief to see the hotel sign as I stumbled out of the station - and crossed a four-hour time switch, as time within the railway system hews to Moscow. Friendly, comfy, clean, good room rate. When they say "free" minibar and "free" breakfast they of course mean help yourself, but there's a charge. Breakfast buffet good value for 400 R.

I will be totally honest with my overall experience , I stayed 11 nights and it was all good except one thing which I believe its the housekeeping girls they took my Moscow metro card from the room and there was around 150-200 rubble on the card , I know it's not much, but it's not a good thing to steal my metro card from my room even though I was using it to ignite the room while I am not on it .

Stayed here for a week in July. I was held up for two hours during check in (until migration police told the manager to check us in). The room was large and generally pleasant at nights, with a great high rise view of the train station. It was very hot during the day (at the end of the hall, on the sunny side of the building) - this would be great in the winter. The bed was big and comfortable, but could use bigger/more pillows. The cleaning staff rarely vacuumed or replenished toilet paper without us asking specifically. There was a sewage smell until we covered the ventilation with a newspaper (thanks for the free paper!). Overall a good hotel, but maybe overloaded or just not well run this summer.

This hotel has a STRICT check in policy. If you arrive before NOON they will try to charge you 500r for check in. Since most flights arrive at 6am, you must sit in the lobby for 3 to 4 hours before being able to check in and sleep. No amount of pleas with the staff or managers makes any difference. When you point out that this website makes no mention of additional charges or strict policies or even what time check is, they say that this information is on thier website (in russian of course). Its a lame bait and switch. The price you paid is not the actul cost of the room! baltent rip off

I used to be a room which has air conditioner. but there are no air conditioning and too hot to sleep, but if I open the window, then the noise of rolling machines and motor vehicles by youn men comes directly in the room. And they don't clean the room though I stayed 2 nights. Meals were very delicious.

We loved staying at Marins Park Hotel in Novosibirsk. The location suited us perfectly as we were taking a break from the Trans Siberian and being near the railway station was a big plus. The rooms were some of the best we've stayed in at this price point. A few tips: Request a higher room. The view from the 23rd floor is phenomenal. And adding breakfast is definitely worth it when booked with the room. There were tons of options for every need - including veggie options. If you're coming to Novosibirsk for business or tourism, there's no need to look further than this hotel.
