Casa Severina

Well maintained heritage property and meets all basic requirements. Staffs are courteous. However no one picks up phone at the reception. People are not sure of the reception extension some says 9 while other says 111. Wi-Fi connection is weak. There was no attendant at night to cater to your requirements. I required a bottle of water and called reception at 11:30pm. No one picked up the phone. I personally went to the reception, no one was there at the desk. Finally I found the receptionist at the kitchen merrily chatting with a chef. Food taste needs improvement. Buffet spread needs improvement. Foods are pricey. Spa is worthless, no one should opt for it. Saying so, the plus points are mentioned below: 5 minutes away from Calangute beach and 2 minutes away from market and restaurants. Beautiful swimming pool Good housekeeping and very comfortable rooms.

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Old Portuguese house , decor in Portuguese style furniture. Would return anytime. A little oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Calangute. Really loved it. Staff friendly, especially house keeping manager 'Thomas' . Reception staff understand very little English so lots of misunderstandings. Also trips and taxis more expensive in hotel and charge tax on everything, so better to book outside of hotel for trips etc.

Was in Goa for work and decided to take wifey along. A very relaxing stay away from the hustle & bustle of the city life.The standard room was very comfy. The beach is about 5 minute walk. Only issue I faced was with no wi-fi connectivity in the room. The hotel could also be a bit innovative with their menu not much to choose from. The staff members were brilliant and always with a smile. Want to relax go "Casa Severina"

Good atmosphere and ambience. Food and beverages are expensive than actually thought. but similar to other Goa restaurants. Pool is good, food is tasty. In house taxi available. overall good experience.

Rooms are very comfortable, it gives you nice feeling with all the wooden furniture that represents the giants culture. In all it was very nice feeling, staff was helpful and courteous.

Amazing staff from top to bottom. One of the best experiences in Goa.

It was a very satisfying experience. 5 minutes walk to the beach and on the other side, it is 5 minutes walk to the main road and bazaar.

My husband and I visited Goa for the first time in March, spending 3 weeks there. After reading reviews on several Hotels we decided to book Casa Severina. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our room and the Hotel in general. We had our room cleaned with clean towels every day and clean sheets on a regular basis. Most of the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible and were very helpful, especially the young boys who cleaned our room and also the boys who served breakfast and worked at the bar. The location of the Hotel was in a quiet spot, but just 5 minutes walk in one direction to the beach and the other direction to the shops, restaurants, taxi,s etc; Not sure when we will be going back to Goa but if we do we would certainly stay at the Casa Severina.

The Hotel, staff cleanliness and ambiance is excellent. We stayed here 23rd March for 3 weeks Used the pool every morning which was heated and was cleaned every day and towels were provided. The Hotel even provided towels to go to the beach free of charge The rooms ( we stayed in junior are excellent) very spacious. The Hotel is only a short 10 mins walk to the quiet and clean side of Calangute beach. Definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel because of its high rating and it lived up to it! I will definitely stay here again as the staff were really great and friendly and its location is ideal - a 5 minute walk to the beach or the town.
