Vacancéole - Port Minervois, Les Hauts du Lac

A little villa on a campsite. Reception staff were friendly and communication good. We were bike touring and only booked at lunchtime on the day of arrival.

We were situated on the adjoining site so had to go out of the main site and down the road to access our villa.

Great location. Plenty of bars/restaurants within 20 minutes of resort. Could do with an on-site store and/or cafe/bar for evenings.

The condition of apartment very old & low standards of comfort , very dated. bed very uncomfortable. no oven in kitchen all kitchen appliances very old didnt feel like a holiday as everything was so old & basic.

The place itself was cozy, and we really liked the mini-villa layout. We only stayed for one night and the weather was rainy, so we couldn’t fully enjoy everything this place has to offer. But it still felt very nice and relaxing.

The stay conditions seemed a bit complicated — there were guides with rules and high cleaning fees if you don’t clean up yourself. Luckily, this didn’t affect us directly, but I saw the papers about it. Also, the location works best if you have a car or a bike.

Ok for an overnight stay on a cycling trip, not crowded at all in early September.

Had to make the beds, then remove the sheets, take out any garbage etc Bathroom on the first floor and toilet on the ground floor. Don't really feel that Vacanceole is totally adapted to a one night stay. They better cater for longer term stays.

Villa was shabby and dirty with uncomfortable beds. It needs complete renovating. Very tired looking
