Beautiful property overlooking sea. All staff were wonderful.

Beautiful location, great staff, delicious food.

There really wasn’t much to do outside of the property. The trips to see the elephants and the backwaters (listed on the website)were really too far away for a day trip. Also I had booked on the assumption that there was morning and evening yoga and meditation available. The only yoga included in the booking was in the morning anything extra was charged. I also was unhappy about the amount on plastic rubbish on the beach. I noticed that the hotel next door cleaned their beach front twice a day, it was a shame that Niramaaya did not do this too.

The beach and dining area but both could be easily improved.

Massive port development around the bay was noisy all night long. Once finished the resort will be hemmed in by port traffic. Hawkers on the beach spoilt ambience,, but litter not as bad as some places. The food wasn’t great in the restaurant, should have focused on quality and not an overly long menu. This was the last evening of 18 in India and the food a disappointment. Only beer or bottles of wine available, no cocktails or single glasses of wine. Why on earth is there not decent coffee in the rooms, who drinks instant coffee and powdered creamer???? A simple cafetière and milk in the fridge would suffice. At $700 night expected a nice experience.

Initial disappointment quickly corrected and huge effort made to make our visit special, great Ayurveda spa and yoga.

Excellent resort to rewind & recuperate. Very private & spacious with great views. Performances from local artists in evening is nice.
