The property is nice and well maintained. Definitely recommended if the only agenda you have is to be on the beach side and enjoy the resort. Won’t recommend if you wish to explore KOVALAM as it is slightly outskirts. Pros: 1. Good private beach 2. Excellent ambience and amenities 3. Food is on the expensive side but justifies by taste and quality 4. The staff at the restaurant are very polite and helpful Cons: 1. Slightly remote and so no Ola/uber serviceability 2. The cab service by the property is super expensive (Tip- The auto rickshaws stand outside the gate- if you wish to travel they would be a cheaper option. The hotel staff did not tell me this so slightly unhappy with that but hope this tip helps you folks.) 3. At the bar, you may only get Beer as hard liquor is not served

Super location, sea view and the continuous sound of sea waves makes it extremely serene and calm. There are tall and old trees which makes the property extremely rich.

"A literal paradise on earth"

This place felt like a literal paradise on earth. From our arrival to our departure we had an amazing time. The staff were on hand to take care of our every need. We had a laugh with a few of them notably Siva who proved to be a bit of a stand up comedian! The food was exceptional and because they didn't offer any vegan desserts the chef made me a special one on our second night. It was such a calm and peaceful place. The pool was amazing. Probably one of the best places I've ever stayed.

"Cozy five-star resort in Kovalam with spa, pool, and restaurant facilities."

Staff was very friendly, the massage was good and well-priced. Food at the on-site restaurant is tasty. Room was very spacious and clean, with great air conditioning.

Compared to other resorts in Kovalam, the property is a bit older. The beach, while accessible, has a good bit of litter. The phones in the room weren't working as of my stay.

"Our stay at Niraamaya"

Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant was overlooking the sea which is another plus point.

We were not happy about the location of our room. It was located below ground level. There were some slugs crawling around the shower room and beside the toilet area. That put us off.
