Knysna Country House

Great! Very homey feel and wonderful staff. A little out of town, so a car is recommended.

We had difficulty in locating the resort.The owners need to place correct signage to help visitors to locate the resort easily. Breakfast needs to improve.Microwave and toaster should be easily accessible in the evening.Otherwise the resort is a good place to stay.The view from the terrace is breathtaking.It has lots of privacy.The management interaction is satisfactory.

If you stay there be prepared for dogs inside the guesthouse (not your room) which means dog hair. Overall a nice experience - facilities were nice and spacious.

Really nice guesthouse with large comfy bed and large room. There is a really nice garden and terrace to sit on. Breakfast was great and the owners are really friendly and helpful.Cannot fault the place. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay overall and the hotel staff were friendly and efficient. We had a garden cottage which was generally very nice, but we thought it could have been a bit fresher overall, iespecially the shower and around the doors and windows. The weather was not great so the pool was never really clean, either. Disappointed that our dark laundry was left covered in fluff.

This place was an absolute gem, we had a large bedroom opening on to a private deck. The host and hostess, Eric and Yipe, looked after our every need. We used the braai facilties for our evening meal with charcaol and fire lighters supplied and a table was made up especially for us with a lit candle. Breakfast, served on the patio, was excellent with all the fruits and grains and eggs cooked to order. All in all we found this to be a wonderful place.

Our rooms were in the main part of the house, quite close to the kitchen so, in the mornings, we could hear the staff making breakfast. The location is very quiet with beautiful views from the patio . The owner s are lovely, very friendly and helpful. One day we wanted to go to the beach so they lent us a body board, umbrella and little chairs . We didn't expect that. Breakfast was very good. All in all we would definitely return.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Außenanlage ansich ist ansprechend, die Räumlichkeiten sehr großzügig, allerdings nach vielen Jahren renovierungsbedürftig. Z.B. sind die Räume mit Teppichboden ausgelegt, eine Fliesung oder ein anderer glatter Boden wären hygienischer. Markisen sind zwar vorhanden, aber ablosut nicht nutzbar. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft in Ordnung.

Eric e Ypi son encantadores, todo amabilidad y facilidades. La habitacion es muy bonita y muy bien decorada. Si la nota es un 4 y no un 5 es porque yo no sabia que funciona como un apartamento y no te hacen camas ni limpieza diaria aunque todo esta muy limpio. Muy recomendable

Very friendly and helpfull, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, nice pool. A very high standard of everything. We will definitely come back to this guesthouse again.
