Citotel Le Volney

This place was a great for spending the night in Saumur. Good location and a place for bike storage.

Accueil froid mais professionnel. Chambre petite, propre et au calme.

L'hotel si trova in posizione perfetta per girare a piedi il Centro storico, peraltro piccolo; è collegato con un bus alla stazione. E' pulito, il gestore è molto gentile (e parla inglese). Purtroppo manca l'ascensore (chiedere una camera a un piano basso), e le stanze sono un po' piccole, ma accoglienti

Une remarque matérielle, la chambre était trop petite...pas de place à côté du lit...vraiment dommage ! Sinon très bon séjour à tout point de vue,très bon accueil, idem au petit déjeuner.

Very welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast. Bed a bit hard, pillows not great but room was pleasant and clean. No air conditioning but there was a fan.

Hotel is everything you want for a short stay, it is clean, comfortable and adequate. Stairs can be a problem if you are infirm. WIFI is good and free Breakfast is very good value at 7.50 Euros Air-conditioning is a fan. Hotel Owner is gem {friendliest owner} Its our second time their and would definitely recommend it and will stay there agin ourselves

Neat little hotel, clean and tidy, and the owner/manager very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, just below the castle and close to shops and restaurants. Doubt if you will find a better hotel in Saumur at the same rates.

Very friendly staff, good position. Small room. Good value for cost.

Comfortable hotel with friendly manager. He gave sound advice on eating out. Breakfast was simple but very well presented and good service at the table
