Citotel Le Volney

Great location, superb staff - very helpful indeed.We were upgraded to a lovely large room with an ensuite and separate loo. Easy walking distance of everywhere. Very helpful with our bicycles too.

Clean room but small. Cracked sink. No real place to hang wet cloths but owner did accommodate by taking our cloths to the cellar for drying. Breakfast was controlled not open buffet style.

free parking by town allotment for 24 hours with no problems. Room was clean on second floor, very small but adequate for budget room. Problem with double booking notified owner more than 24 hours before arrival but still uncertain about results. Expedia notified.

very friendly landlord, excellent shower, good breakfast, all round a well recommended inexpensive hotel, will use again in future. Good car parking in front of nearby post office.

The location of the hotel makes it perfect for sightseeing and getting around on foot.

The hotel was spotless if a little dated, but that added to it's charm. Central location without being too noisy at night. Staff couldn't be more helpful or knowledgeable about the area and breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Thoroughly recommend Hotel Volney.

Comfortable clean quiet hotel at a good price Friendly manager

The hotel was preety dingy and there was no parking on site. The hotel room was very small and the absence of air conditioning during a hot spell in that part of France meant that the room was uncomfortable and we got little sleep. By contrast the shower room was very good. In addition it is worth pointing out that the owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast which was very reasonably priced was more than adequate
