"The worst experience of my life I did not get what I paid for and ended up sleeping in my car on the side of the road."

1.0

This was the worst experience I have ever had and I defiantely did not get what I booked and paid in advanced for. I paid in advanced for a one bedroom chalet WHAT I got a tiny home with a drop toilet inside. This was not what I paid $340 for and it was disgusting. I opened the door to the stench and almost vomited. I tried sleeping outside it got too cold, I tried rubbing my citronella insect roll on all over me to mask the smell. Then I slept in the car on the side of the road somewhere. I paid $340 for a one bedroom chalet NOT for a tiny home with a DROP TOILET inside.

I hated the whole experience. My husband has passed away this was my first ever trip on my own I was so excited to book a chalet in the bush the photos looked beautiful I paid in advance to be sure of my booking I paid more for this experience than any other accomodation on my holiday it was my special treat for myself. Then to arrive and be given a tiny home with a DROP TOILET inside was disgusting. I’m 62 I grew up with my grandmothers outhouse, but that is it an outhouse not a DROP TOILET inside where I’m meant to shower, eat and sleep. I was disappointed when I arrived and was told I had tiny home even though I had paid for the one bedroom chalet, but thought oh look I’ll make the most of it I’m not one to complain. But really this was not acceptable. It’s not what I paid for and no where was there any mention in my booking about an inside DROP TOILET Be warned this is not what you book. This 62 yr old lady got taken.

"Does not match the description. Poor value for the cost"

6.0

The location was gorgeous. Pristine rainforest.

The compost toilet was not mentioned in the description. The smell in the very small chalet was very unpleasant. There was no internet. The description said it had a separate living and bedroom. This is not the case. It is an all-in-one converted shipping container.

"Amazing wildlife!"

10.0

The location right in the rain forest was very beatiful and tranquil. There was an abundance of wildlife. We had many platypus sightings just from our balcony.

"SELF Catering!"

7.0

Location and property are amazing with fantastic views and Wildlife close up.

No greeting, or even a hello from anyone. There was a power cut from 2pm until 10pm on first day the staff/hosts had left and didn’t answer their phone. No contact over the 2 days staying there and the hosts (😆) left early. The sign on attached photo was on their door as they drove off the premises before 10am on the morning we departed.

"Ein tolles Haus mitten im Regenwald"

10.0
