The Canopy Rainforest Treehouses & Wildlife Sanctuary

We booked a treehouse and was allocated a tiny house. When we reached at the property, there was no power. No one was present at tge property to address the issue. After multiple call, a lady answered but no resolution was provided and told us she will call ergon power company to raise the issue. The power was out for most of the afternoon and night, It came back at 10pm. The toilet was just a hole in the ground and due to no power there was no exhaust and whole unit was smelly. We spent most of our evening on the deck and outside near fireplace to avoid the smell from the toilet. When we addressed the issues with the owner next day, he sounded very understanding and asked us apply for refund through expedia. We applied for 75% back, understanding owner's expenses but no refund was offered back fo us. I normally don't write good or bad reviews but in this case, I just had to. Goodluck to future travellers, you might get lucky and no get the tiny unit with power cuts.

De locatie lag middenin het tropisch regenwoud; er was een heerlijk groot balkon met bbq. We hebben heel bijzonder dieren gezien, waaronder veel mooie vogels. Een aanrader. Je kunt ook in de omgeving een mooie wandeling maken. Heel fijn dat we laarzen konden lenen (de ondergrond was prima, maar op sommige stukjes een beetje drassig).

Niets, het was er geweldig. Maar het is een stukje tropisch regenwoud, dus tip: houd je spullen zoveel mogelijk dicht, want alles wordt vochtig en klam (kleding en boeken).

Location and host. Excellent tips about where to go and what to see. Someone passionate about the rainforest and nature generally. Location is just stunning with beautiful sunset view on the terrace. And a great little visitor in the evening… We even saw two platypus on our early morning walk to the Canopy waterfalls! Amazing!

Kakkerlak in de keuken en niet alles was goed schoon

Wonderful location quiet except for the wildlife which was nice to wake up to. Everything we needed to function did. WiFi was not ideal but worked enough to keep connectivity but not for heavy users (GSM module)

WiFi due to the poor bandwidth, there were a few items that weren’t ideal but I found the operator to be very receptive to the feedback so not worth noting.
