Hotel Nikko Wuxi

Very comfortable hotel with large, clean rooms. Bathroom in particular was large. Very conveniently located near Grand Canel and temple with market. Very nice neighbour to stroll around and take in the sights. Breakfast was OK - buffet with reasonable choice of western and Chinese food.

The hotel is big and the arrival lobby is a bit boring. The hotel is in a good area , with lots of restaurants and at theother side of the road a western bar with good food. Room andbathroom where clean . Breakfast buffet is good . Nice view from the room. Old city street is near by and the Temple also ,lots of street food. And on monday a antiek market

日本系列ということもあり、清潔感がある。 トイレもウォッシュレットがあり、綺麗。 シャワーの水量も問題なし。 周辺もレストランが多いが、無錫の中心地からは、少し遠い。

Spacious and convenient, but the bed is bit small.

I like the hotel - room was clean, fast check-in & check-out, and the location is very near to restaurants and shops. The only improvement I highly suggest/recommend is that there is someone who can speak & understand English. I had a difficulty talking to the staff who arranged my taxi. I requested politely to get a taxi for me which will pick me up at 8:45. But, when I went down at the lobby at 8:40, he did not arrange it yet. :( So, it took him some time to get one. As a result, I was stuck in traffic & was late in my meeting.

We asked for a roller bed and it was not set up when we got to our room. The hotel staff came to set up but didn’t know how to. Got a technician to set up the bed and the staff about to just leave us. We had to ask the staff to make the beddings for the roller bed. But he didn’t know how to, and did a horrible job.

Comfortable hotel and bed Lots of western style restaurants behind the hotel. Very close to the temple and markets area, a short walk. Nice view of the city and canal. A great spot.

this hotel is very well located just next to the historical part. The equipment is good with a interior swimming pool, gym (should be renovated). The restaurant is of good quality and breakfasts are perfect

Okay, here is a run down of the pros an cons of this place. The pros first. Location, location, location - excellent place for a ton of food options and is next to a tourity boulevard as well. The rooms are generally nice and well kept. Clean bathrooms. A nice lobby as well. The cons. Service is variable - sometimes it is for lack of trying and other times it is the language barrier if you do not speak Mandarin. The common areas smell of smoke (despite the no smoking signs) especially first think in the morning. And check-in and check-out could use a lot of simplification and speeding up.
