Good location with a beautiful view. Comfy beds, warm and cosy room. Good facilities in hotel.

Our room was beside the kitchen for the bunk rooms and was noisy until 1am when I had to put earplugs in. Possibly a staff bunkroom? The bathroom was very small, could hardly move in the shower stall and handbowl teeny tiny.

The property was incredible! We had a one night stay from our Tranzalpine journey from Christchurch to Greymouth and it was the perfect little relaxation spot! The apartment was stunning, 2 floors with a beautiful view of the lake! The owner of Hotel Lake Brunner was lovely and very welcoming :) we were also very lucky to have an incredible view of the stars and Milky Way from our balcony!

Absolutely nothing we didn’t like! If I could request one thing it would be sun loungers in the balcony so we could just stare up at the stars for longer!
