Carrington Motel

Was everything i expected Very clean welcoming Would recommend it to my friends if every theyre looking for accomodation in New Plymouth

Always my first call to stay in New Plymouth. Very friendly owners.

Staff were friendly, location was good, rooms were kept tidy. Nice stay.

The staff were helpful to our late arrival but the room was hard to heat and the beds to soft for our liking.

Very clean and great family rooms. Warm and comfortable. Would stay there again. The staff were lovely.

This motel is by far the best deal in New Plymouth. I have only stayed somewhere else if it is full

Great location. Easy walk to CBD, Pukekura Park & other local walkways

Nice motel that I'd use again. Had all the amenities I needed to end a fortnight's holiday ie laundry, kitchenette. Good parking. Good sized room. I was able to request a downstairs room with the Motelier on checking in due to an injury I'd sustained a couple of days prior. She said that a downstairs room should have been requested when I made the booking, but when I explained to her that my injury had happened after I'd made the booking, she accommodated by arranging a downstairs room for me. Small shower cubicle was clean and tidy. Although be prepared to battle the flimsy shower curtain that blows into the cubicle from the air current created by the water flow from the shower head.

Would stay again. Disappointing to learn the motelier has to pay 12% of room charge to wotif, seems excessive? Next time I will book directly.

It was great. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Great location. If you are a light sleeper and other guests have kids who are loud and enjoy running around on the top floor, it might be a problem.
