Carrington Motel

Quiet and very handy to shops,cafes,supermarkets etc.

I loved staying at the Carrington, even though it was two nights I was very happy with the service and cleanliness as well as the quietness of the location, and less then 5mins to the city center. ❤️❤️

Reasonable hotel, close to Pukekura park for the festival of lights and town. Very lovely receptionist, who was very pleasant and helpful to our stay. Our room smelt a little damp, where we just left the outside door as it was very hot otherwise the room was ok.

Very clean and friendly staff, however old and no noise control between top and bottom floor. Sounded like a bunch of hippos running around from 5 am on...be aware when the people above you are awake so are you. It's also one of those motels that give you a limited internet allocation...seriously it's 2019. Otherwise it's just a motel that's clean and adequate for a night.

Nice location as was close to the city, there wasn’t a dryer in the laundry so we couldn’t dry our clothes after cleaning and with our room having the sun in the afternoon the room was way too hot to sleep in, other than that good value for your money

excellent location near Pukukura Park and beach. Being spending a few days before Christmas at the Carrington for many years.

Handy location. Friendly owner that waited up late late to facilitate my late arrival.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in New Plymouth. Friendly staff, nice lodgings and a nice city.

Nice hotel, close to town, not far from the beach and excellent staff. It is being sold this week so we'ii have to wait and see how the next owner runs it.
