Hotel is Safe and Quiet. However if u are on the 1st floor near the lobby the noise echoes and can be heard in your room.

Elevator was broken. The man at the desk is rude to women.

It was OK but I had a room on the first floor and I could hear a very loud conversation that was going on at the front desk. Not sure if they were arguing but it went on for over 10 minutes.

Stayed there two nights while attending the races at Belmont Park. Positives: clean room, comfortable bed, wifi worked. It is very convenient to Belmont Park and the USB Arena. Negatives: the room is very small,the work table is about the size of a school desk (a lamp and phone take up about a third of the surface), there was no clock in the room, it took a few minutes for the hot water to reach my room, and while AC did it's job, it was noisy. No breakfast is offered. Should you stay here, ask for a room that's not on the Jericho Turnpike side. Drivers love to share their music and apparently car mufflers are optional. The parking lot is very small. Few dining opportunities are nearby, so the clerk recommended a diner two blocks away. It turns out it had been closed for months. There is a place about a block away that has peri-peri chicken. I recommend it. While this place isn't awful, I will likely not consider the Bellerose Inn for my next visit.

It was ok, not the Ritz for sure.

Needed some peace and quiet and no one bothered me i was able to sleep.
