Hotel Alcazar

Everything good, customer service excellent, everyone who work there are nice, everything is clean and the cleaner person are very nice. Restaurant sell good food. Out side the hotel is a construction and the traffic is a little difficult that the only problem.

What we like about this property was the cleanliness and size of the room. For the price that we paid, it was acceptable. But there are small changes that they can make to make it a more pleasant stay like have at least one staff know how to speak English, provide extra hand towel as there was only one for two people, no tissue box, the wall outlet for the hairdryer in our room was very loose that you have to wiggle it for awhile before you can get power. It is also weird that the cleaner removes our soap everyday that she cleaned our room. At one point she didn't even leave any soap for us so we had to go downstairs to get one. And they should not even advertise "continental breakfast included" as all it is is watered down coffee and two pieces of toast, small dab of butter and one jam.

It was hard to find cause the street where this hotel is it was close and did not find parking had to park one block away to get to the hotel

It's a nice hotel with the exception of the hard mattresses and the hard to sleep pillows.

Hotel was close to everything the monuments, the 9 corner's famous landmark where you can find the authentic birria (goat or beef stew with all the traditional spicies but not hot it all) tortas ahogadas (filled with pork meat,the special breed just made for this kind of food and if you don't like spicy food ask for the sweet salsa instead the hot salsa)you can also find restaurants,bars, Mariachis, the hotel street main entrance it's under construction (subway line # 3)but noise it's not bad ) my only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't working properly I had to open the windows so we can get some fresh air. Great place to stay for the price. The hotel worker will offering you a tour but you can get a cab to every interesting places and may cost you the same price without the rush of come back to the bus on time. I'm will stay at this hotel next time I'm in Guadalajara.

The people working at the hotel were nice and it is located close to the centre of the city where there are museums and a wonderful cathedral, but all the drains stink and there is a subway being constructed right outside the front of the hotel which is worked on 24 hours a day and there is also traffic noise at the front which lasts until about 1 am.

Everything was great for the price, I thought it was actually better than I thought. ONLY scary thing was that the front desk gentlemen was never able to find my reservation, but I showed him my confirmation and that I had paid for it in advance and was nice enough to give me a room and mentioned he will let his boss deal with it the next day. I did get worry, for I thought I was going to be left with no room at 11 PM at night.

Everything was fine and comfortable but the shower was full of mold. The hot water made the smell worse too

Great place. Good price and centrally located. We would stay there again.

It was very Pleasant, excelent location. The only thing its that its locataed on a masive renovetion area in guadalajara but for the low rates its worth the walks arround
