Hotel Tugu Lombok

I really did not expect to be awaken at 4:30 am every morning. Not just one speaker….but 4 around the property. You can’t even rest!!! Go there at your own risk.

Beautiful property and amazing staff. I will definitely go back

Our experience at TUGU was above our expectations. First of all, the hotel is different from what you find usually in the region as it is very authentic, not so modern but well maintained. The location is just perfect with easy access to Gili islands. The staff is very counsious and takes good care of the customers (a special thanks to Ruslan from the restaurant and to all the staff). The only negative point would be the average price of the food at the restaurant which is in my opinion a bit expensive.

The hotel is very unique and different than any I’ve stayed in over my years of travel. I really enjoyed the private pool in the honeymoon suite which I definitely recommend over the oceanfront room. I definitely would recommend this hotel as it was a great experience. Also recommending going to see waterfall via a 90 minute car ride and Gili islands via boat day boat trip both were well worth it. The service is amazing and very personalized they remembered my breakfast order and the sauces I liked daily. Only suggestion would be that it needs a few upgrades and could be a bit cleaner. This is only comparing it to a 5 star standard, by no means did I think it was dirty or poorly maintained but that’s the only thing I think could be improved. Was a very nice difference from our hotel in Bali which was much more crowded. Overall would recommend this hotel.

The service is great! All the staff is amazing and very friendly. Especially the one on the beach activity centre. I wanted to snorkel and bring my 3 young kids with me. 2 guys brought us to the snorkel spot with canoe and paddle board. They showed us the spot and kept us save and bring us back. we had a really good time. The breakfast is good, lunch and dinner is just okay. Nothing special. The hotel is really unique and romantic. But my kids found it a bit scary. A bit dark and have a lot of statue.Maybe more suitable to couples and young family. The only cons is there’s a lot of mosquitos. So make sure to put on the mosquito repellent.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, it’s like a massive open air art gallery. The service is excellent, the staff is fantastic and the food was very good.

We stayed at Hotel Tugu from the 8th to the 12th of May 2019. What an awesome way to start our honeymoon adventure in Indonesia. We stayed in a beautiful bungalow with a king-sized bed and an outdoor bathroom. The WIFI, air condition and minibar were very pleasing. The hotel is a lavish museum of adventure contained on a lush green property with fabulous pools, artistic Indonesian décor, a relaxing spa and a pretty beach. The staff was amazing and very attentive and the food and cocktails were fresh, delicious, exotic and most important plentiful. Afternoon tea was always a delight and relaxing at any of the hotel’s amenities was just perfect. The only downside to the hotel was that once you are there you do not want to leave the premises to explore the local area which was also interesting i.e. the Elephant park and The Gillies. When we return to Indonesia it will definitely be our first stop and we would recommend it to every and anyone who is looking for a beautiful experience in Lombok.

Fantastic hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Paradise style location, beautiful infinity pools, great food, fantastic drinks. Facilities were great. In short, one of the best places I've ever stayed in, brilliant attention to detail all around.

Amazing hotel in a fabulous location. I cannot think of anything they could have done better.

We went a few weeks after they re opened due to the earthquakes and we were a little nervous but it was absolutely amazing. The property is insanely beautiful. The hotel did not look like it had any damage at all. The staff was incredible and so helpful and Accommodating. One of the most beautiful places Ive ever stayed. Highly recommend!!!
