A great quaint historical place to stay. Close to everything. Clean and up to date. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast is always savory, sweet and delicious and the room is cozy! The sheets are the silkiest ever and the staff are friendly and warm. We have made this our annual December tradition because of the history and charm of the inn. We love it!

The Washington House Inn never disappoints...it always excels at making guests feel welcome with so many special touches. No matter the time of year...Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter, the staff is ready to make your stay memorable, relaxing and fun. We always enjoy the daily breakfast delivered to our room. They even accommodate guests with food allergies. The gluten free options are delicious and nourishing. Thanks to Wendy and the entire staff. We'll be back very soon.

The Hotel was just beautiful & historic. We loved our room - the brick wall made it rustic & cozy, yet the hotel had that lovely Victorian feel. The social hour wine, cheese, snacks was our favorite part. We played Scrabble by the fire as we sipped our delicious wine & tried the different cheese spreads. There were about 5 different wines to try, so our own little wine tasting. Breakfast was delicious, the perfect mix of fruit cups, quiches & homemade breakfast treats. The bed & linens were extremely comfortable & luxurious. The staff was very nice to talk to, as well. Wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thank you for our romantic little getaway before the holiday craze is upon us!

Quaint property in good location with friendly staff.

It was a lovely, historical place to stay. Easy check in, friendly staff, enough towels, warm bedding, loved the fireplace and ambience. Breakfast was delicious. Two things to keep in mind if you’re looking to stay: the room was cold (stayed end of Oct) as it was stone, no insulation and windows single panes. (Bedding cozy, so no worries sleeping.) Also, bright and noisy in room at night bc of street lights peaking through blinds and night life, so bring noise machine and eye mask. As far as Cedarburg goes, one day and an overnight was plenty for my husband and me to see and shop where we wanted, have breakfast and coffee the next morning and feel we didn’t miss anything.

Great place to stay

This is our second time at Washington Inn & we love it. Perfect place for a couple like us- we live/work in a very large, busy suburb in the Chicago-land area. Washington Inn gives us a calm, relaxing place to stay. We will be back!
