Washington House Inn

Beautiful. 5 Star experience. Will be staying here again. Some of the most friendly people I have ever met. The staff was most helpful, breakfast was excellent, reception wine and cheese to die for. Taken back to another time as if I were living in the 18th or 19th century.

We love the Washington House Inn! Everyone is always welcoming and friendly. Best breakfast ever…the harvest scones were amazing. It’s a nice get away any time of the year. We’ll definitely be back….we’ve been coming for 35 years! Thanks for a great stay.

Historic and well cared for inn. They pay attention to details. Continental breakfast is substantial than most.

Enjoyed two days in Cedarburg with my husband for our Birthdays. First time at a B&B style hotel. I was expecting our room to be bigger, but the hot steam shower in January was very nice. All the staff from the Inn keepers,cleaning ladies and the bakers making homemade delicious breakfast were all very friendly. Great little town for shopping, fish fries, and wine tasting.

Washington House Inn is my favorite place to get away. Housed in old stone buildings the inn exudes charm with its antiques and period decor. Breakfast in the gathering room is a highlight with traditional offerings and house baked goods, always a treat. Guests may use the room for socializing and playing games. There’s a lovely fireplace to add to the atmosphere. But what makes the inn stand out is the staff. From the folks who bake and provide breakfast (also wine hour) to the desk staff and cleaning crew, they are friendly and welcoming to all. I can’t wait to get back…..

Christmas time is magical here!! Great hotel and great location! I walked to the shops and restaurants and loved it! Staff is exceptional! Breakfast was more than i expected and very delicious. The town is beautiful and this was on my bucket list for Wisconsin!

This is such a lovely boutique hotel! The bed was very comfortable and I think the sheets were a high quality. The best part was the breakfast that was included! The best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel! The dining room was charming with a fireplace and decorated for the New Year’s holiday!

How romantic! Fifteen years ago, we took our first trip together to the Schrader House, part of the Washington House Inn, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. It was romantic then and remains so today. We occupied the Gertrude Schrader room at the rear of the Schrader House. It is quiet and had it's own entrance. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace and the two-person whirlpool bath. The sitting porch was a delightful place to enjoy the breakfast that was brought to our room each morning. That was such a treat! We have returned to Cedarburg and the Schrader House over the years. We will continue to visit and enjoy the hospitality and this spectacular little city!

Loved it! Very comfortable and friendly staff made it better. Felt very at home there. I didn’t expect an elevator and was thrilled to see it! Bath was clean and comfortable. Was a little dangerous to get in and out of the shower/tub so fair warning to make sure you’re physically able to deal with that, easy to slip and fall but we figured it out!
