Marriott's Shadow Ridge II - The Enclaves

We have been coming here with our family for about two years now and this years was the worst experience I ever had. We checked in on Saturday into a second floor room and everything was going fine up until Thursday, this day we had been at the living desert zoo since the morning, we didn’t come back till around 12-1pm and when we got back to our room me, my husband and kids took a nap, we woke up around 2ish and were relaxing eating lunch. About 20-30 mins later we got a call that security was at our door when I open the door security was saying that they had gotten complaints of us running around and being loud ( which of course we weren’t) i told them no one is running or jumping and they left then 30 mins go by and they again showed back up saying they could here us stomping, mind you we were just walking normal. I then told them that we are not doing anything. They again kept saying that we were stomping. Mind u we had been in this exact room for 5 days already with no complaints. We were supposed to stay until Saturday but since we had this negative experience we decided to leave Thursday. I truly believe the person or people below us had just checked in and was already complaining even though we had been there for days with no complaints from anyone. I don’t think we will come back to this place again security was very rude and was making it seem like we were lying.

Overall good for families

Would have appreciated better instructions on how to get to my villa by the front desk agents. Took more time processing me than the customer service that followed.

I truly enjoyed my stay, I liked the customer service and friendliness of the staff. I also liked the options of different pools. I like the daily activities for everyone and movie night.

Terrible lack of enforcement of quiet hours: Unruly kids jumping out of beds on floor above, treating room like playground starting at 7:15a on a Saturday. We thought a villa might avoid this. Try no kids on top floor as everyone suffers!

Great hospitality friendly staff the manager was amazing helped me with late check out with no problem. Her name was Madison !

Everything was wonderful. We golfed, enjoyed shopping and dining. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

So many options for the kids to enjoy themselves such as slime making, birdhouse painting and lots of there activities. The pools are big and spacious too
