A beautiful and exceptionally clean hotel. Special mention and thanks to Gym Personal Trainer, Sergio, who was fantastic with my teenage boys.

"Good"

5.0

The location is great, also the facilities. The food at the buffet is great, specially the Mexican night.

The transportation inside the resort needs to improve, we were informed that we should have "buses" every 10 min, but it not happened. Also, several times the buses not stopped when we asked for a ride. The Rodzio restaurante is terrible, it supposed to be a brazilian barbecue and its so far from it, the service slow, poor buffet, and the meat... no comments. Really bad! I did an upgrade of the room, to be closer to the beach and pool, I couldnt use the balcony because it wasnt clean properly, the animals visit it leaving behing leftovers and other things - 2nd floor - in addition that I had no view. Oh, by the way, the massage is USD 250,00.

"uncomfortable situations"

7.0

Kids Club is very good and the guys are making it very well.

The hotel is very large, and the distances between the beach, lobby, and buffet are quite long. The golf carts are not always available. Although it is an Iberostar resort, there are several Iberostar hotels within the same complex. You should be aware that your all inclusive package only applies to one specific hotel. If you try to eat or drink in another one, you may be refused service. I understand that if I booked Beach Paradise, I cannot use the Lindo facilities. However, this was not clearly explained at the beginning, and I had several uncomfortable situations where I felt humiliated in front of other guests. The final straw was when my daughter participated a couple of times in performances at the Lindo theater with the Kids Club, but we were not served drinks at the bar there. I’m sorry, but we are on an all-inclusive vacation, and we paid the same or even more with the upgrade than guests staying at Lindo. Not being served a drink felt offensive. Don't bring my daughter there if you don't want to serve me a drink. ( I don't have anything against the Kidsclub, they are good guys!) After making a complaint, I was told it would be recorded and that I would be contacted by email. I was also told that the late check-out would maybe not be charged. However, I was never contacted, and in the end, I was charged in full. Additionally, I noticed inconsistency at the bar: some guests were served drinks from premium branded bottles, while others received drinks from plastic bottles, even though many of us were tipping regularly. Finally, the entertainment seemed heavily oriented toward American guests. This was especially noticeable during interactions with the audience in the theater, and at times it felt uncomfortable.

"Definitely not a 5 star experience"

4.0

We arrived to the hotel after 18 hours of travelling and so far our experience has been absolutely awful and upsetting. We are a family of five (one four month old breastfed baby and a young five year old child with suspected autism included). We made our booking all together as one family and one booking. Due to the size, we had to book two rooms. We figured given that we booked as one family and the ages of the children that we would be allocated rooms next to each other, however, to cover all bases we also emailed in advance to ensure we were. We got a reply stating if we wanted rooms next to each other we would have to pay $140 USD per night for our 14 night stay. We emailed back informing that we did not want to upgrade (we thought they had misunderstood) and just to ensure our rooms are next to each other as we can not have our other children be in separate spaces. We also requested ground floor due to my disabilities and also as we have pushchairs etc. We arrived at check in and I don’t think the gentleman serving us smiled once - at all throughout the whole interaction. We were informed that we had two separate rooms in two completely different blocks. We stated that we could not do this as we could not be separated in different blocks to our children, particularly when they may need to swap rooms during the night. We were told that we could move the next day but we would be without a room for hours the next day as we would have to check out and store our luggage and then check back in again hours later. I stated this was not an option, I am breastfeeding a baby, we have a 4 month old and a 5 year old and I am also autistic and have bowel disease, fibromyalgia and endometriosis so I need access to a private bedroom/toilet and a safe space for us to be able to breastfeed and wind down. We also need access to our belongings. Not only that, but packing and repacking will take up so much time already. The gentleman was not phased or bothered and told us that this was the process whether we liked it or not. He then just ignored what we were saying and proceeded to give us our room number and keys and informed if we wanted to speak to his supervisor that she was on the phone but would be saying the same thing anyway. We waited to speak to the supervisor who greeted us with the same attitude (and zero smile throughout the interaction) and informed that this is the check-in and checkout process. Despite the fact we have paid to be in our rooms during this time. After lots of time and lots of arguing back and forth she agreed to let us keep one of the rooms on until we got into the new rooms. Despite the fact we have paid for these rooms to utilise our whole stay. We got to the new rooms and we were on the second floor. There is no lifts in this hotel so we had to carry babies and children and car seats and pushchairs up and down the stairs. And would have continued to have to do so if we were to stay in these rooms like they were originally stating we had to. Alongside this, the room for my husband and I and the baby had a room with two beds and no crib. So we are expected to sleep separately the whole stay and I’m not sure where they were expecting the baby to sleep. We are still awaiting the crib to arrive that we asked for on check in and there is no sign of it yet. Due to the circumstances we contemplated all staying in one room and some sleeping on sofas/floors as we are too nervous to be out in different blocks, especially arriving at this time of night and having no idea of our surroundings. Not how we wanted to start our honeymoon at all and I felt anxious for how the rest of the stay was going to go given the welcome we had already had. Further to this, the cot got delivered hours later in the middle of the night when we had just got our baby and child off to sleep (I had to stay awake and sit up all night with her as it was not safe for her to sleep otherwise without a cot) and our ceiling fan didn’t work and the aircon was sooooo noisy and wouldn’t turn up from freezing. We arrived to the pool at 8am and pretty much all loungers had been reserved with no one on them. At 9am I haven’t seen anyone on them yet. It’s like a cheap hotel in Benidorm and we don’t come on vacation to have to wake at 6am to ensure our family gets a bed. You aren’t supposed to reserve beds but there is no-one policing this. To further add to this, we were able to move rooms yesterday. We arrived at checkout at 3:20pm (20 minutes past check in time) and were informed one room still wasn’t ready and we would have to come back again in 30 minutes. We had already had to spend a lot of the day packing our bags up and checking out of one room at 12 and moving luggage. It’s then a 15-20 minute walk to reception each time. I refused to do this with two young children in tow and had to insist for them to give us the key ans that we just wouldn’t enter that room for 30 minutes. We then asked if they would move our luggage from the old room to the new room. It was all packed up and stacked together near the door. They said we had to go to the old room and basically do it ourselves - but they sent us on a golf buggy. So we had to move all of our luggage (we are here for two weeks and with a baby it’s quite a lot) down flights of stairs ourselves with a baby, a five year old, a pensioner and a disabled lady. You honestly couldn’t write it. When we got to the new room I spent some time unpacking and it didn’t take long to realise that the floor hadn’t been cleaned. I could feel myself picking up bits of dirt along the way and when I looked at my feet they weee black with crumbs all over them. I have attached a picture. Our room again was two separate beds with no cot so me and my husband have to sleep in separate beds for the whole two weeks and last night we had to take turns staying awake to ensure the baby was safe as she had to safe sleep space. There is still no cot here as I write this. Furthermore, the sensor in the bedroom keeps cutting out. It happened four times when we were in the room. Some times we would be sitting with the kids asleep, other times walking around etc. it turns the air con and fan etc off and it varies when it comes back on, we were stuck in the pitch black for ages yesterday evening. They have apparently altered the sensor now so will see if that works. The food has so far been really nice but other than that, the hotel is definitely not 5 star. There is also no pool service for drinks as there is in most other 5 star hotels. So you have to go to the bar for your drinks etc each time. Not a massive deal and saves a fortune on tips but definitely something I would like to be aware of when reading reviews and deciding my hotel. We spoke to and emailed the hotel directly and Iberostar chain to give them a chance to reply/rectify, however, we have had zero response.

"My 15th Time at this Complex. Says something, doesn't it?"

8.0

Some people say the familiarity breeds contempt. With this resort, it breeds comfort and pleasure. This was my 15th time at this complex, mostly at the Beach, and I was glad I returned, as I enjoyed it much more than the previous visit (which was finem by the way). I felt welcomed and was happy to see some familiar faces, both on staff and among the visitors. My room was fine, but who spends much time in it. I appreciated the welcome back gift of strawberries and cava. The cava will be consumed at home this summer. The bag of gifts was also nice, later in my stay. I spent most of my time at the pool in my usual spot near the ping pong tables. Too bad there are still so many selfish people "reserving" the best seats. In this spot, I get to see most people as they pass by, which adds to my enjoyment. I was happy to see Frank at the new pool bar, a great idea to spread out the service. And Karen at the buffets, who said she remembered my face. Food was decent, although I miss having the big buffet open for lunch. I stuck to beer and the occasional glass of wine, so cannot comment on the mixed drinks. Frank always had my amber ready for me, as did Karen. The grounds were as lovely as ever. I thought there might have been a few less coatis, which is a good thing. Loved the spider monkeys and orange birds. Enjoyed my morning jogs through the campus. The entertainment was improved over previous years, though by staying for 10 days, I saw duplication. I skipped the pool party and was glad at the fire show that they did not do the hula hoop competition. All in all, I enjoyed my visit. Will I be back next year, time will tell.

"Wedding"

8.0

We were here for our son’s wedding, March 24-31, 2026. 45 people ranging in age from 6 months to 75 years. Pros: beautiful location, rooms and resort was overall clean. They did a decent job cleaning the see weed from the beach. Most of the staff were good. Lots of pretty birds - peacocks ( although they can be quite loud, FYI) flamingos, swans all roaming around. Grounds are huge, but golf carts are always around for transport. Wedding was beautiful, they chose the stone gazebo for ceremony and the reception was near the conference centre, both were fairly private and beautiful, the officiant was wonderful. Activities around the pool kept the 20 somethings entertained and the gym was good as well. Cons: although I felt like the food selection was decent, the food at the buffets were consistently cold, ala carts I tried were decent, Japanese, French and Italian. Was hard to book on the app though. Biggest con is the PRICING!! Especially for the spa and the wedding, if you’re considering a wedding here look into every detail, sound system, lights, food, drinks were overpriced by $100’s . And based on US dollars. Charge was $750 just to plug in string lights for the reception.also had to pay a lot to extend the reception to 11 pm when the disco opened, otherwise only option would have been lobby bar. I will say the staff and food at the wedding reception was great, we were all very happy with the location for the ceremony and reception as the beach was quite windy most days.
