The room looks cheap. The shower is barely working without curtain. No AC, just a fan. Hard for hot days. Fortunately, the area is far away from the city and not noisy. The breakfast is pretty good.
Hotel Cristal is a nice place to stay. Friendly reception desk persons, breakfast (not free) and a comfortable room. The only complaint for me, I had to unplug the alarm clock to have an electrical outlet near the bed. Location is good for going around Nuremberg sights.
Staff was neither very helpful nor friendly. Receptionist could not find our booking and did not even knew hotels.com nor was he cooperative to solve the issue with finding the booking from his end. At 2:30 AM in the morning with two young and tired kids we were forced to call hotels.com our selfs as he did not want to give us even a room without the situation being clarified. After 1h! We finally could solve the problem our selfs. Good Customer service is something different!! Overall it seems staff does not know how to welcome guests. Apart from that the hotel and amenities where okay.
This was a very convenient hotel close to local transportation. The staff was superb and extremely helpful. The ambiance and open lobby was welcoming. Breakfast service was superb! I would recommend this hotel anytime to anyone!
The hotel was great- clean, comfortable, great breakfast (not free) and free wifi for all three of us. The stairs to our room were a problem because we had VERY heavy suitcases and there was not elevator. There were steps into the hotel and to the dining area. If you are traveling with a normal, smaller suitcase, not a problem.
Our second stay in this hotel. We will return. Great breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff. Though out of the town centre Hotel Cristal is about 3 minutes from the subway that provides the best city transit service I have ever used. A lack of good restaurants is a minor complaint. Conveniant for the airport, 15 euro in a cab or 4 stops on the U-BAHN. Good value. If you dont take the breakfast package then the cost is only an extra 5 euro.

I went with my 2 sons and stay just a night, it's a good hotel consider their low price, the service was good, the breakfast had a lot of options but the beds where too soft

Went there for a night to stop in and see the Christmas markets. Great hotel with plenty of room for four people in one room. Hotel staff was great and close to the train stop or a cheap cab ride to the main square. Would stay here again.
