Irinna Hotel

Hotel was lovely very quiet and within walking distance of a beautiful beach and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Needs alot of TLC but it was comfortable enough. Nice pool bar food, very friendly and helpful staff, overall a great location, Ammes beach is just a short walk. There is also a bus stop right outside that goes in to Lassi, and Argostoli. Plus other locations. A few lovely restaurants are within reasonable walking distance from the hotel too. Fantastic views of the sea and coast line, especially great for sunset shots. Would definitely return.

The staff at this hotel are great, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is very good for it's rating. The facilities are simple, clean but a little tired and dated. The rooms are perfectly adequate with aircon, a fridge, tv, and basic bathroom. The pool is excellent, sunbeds are just enough in number but certainly in need of replacing with a number of them broken or in need of a good scrub. If staying half board, the evening menu is repetitive but quality and choice is reasonable. Not much in the way of evening entertainment but nearby tavernas provide alternative food and music options. Milos taverna is superb, the cocktails at Legends bar are excellent and the beach at Ammes is beautiful with ample sunbeds for hire. Yes the planes do land at the end of the beach and come in low over the hotel but this was a source of fascination and amusement rather than intrusive. Well worth hiring a car to explore more of the island. If you're looking for a quiet get away in a simple, clean and comfortable hotel with a small number of nearby alternative venues then I highly recommend it. If you want lots of night life choices then this is not the place for you. I would definitely stay here again (and there were a number of return visitors doing just that).

Hotel is served by a good bus service to Argostolli and Lassi. Clean and basic hotel is well placed for a walk out to three nearby beeches and many bars and restaurants Good light breakfast sitting outside watching the planes go over, listening and hearing the reverse thrust and we say "he's down" but nice to see. Would stay there again.

A nice welcome at reception, good sized pool, very close to two sandy beaches. Lovely location, bus stop just outside the main gate.

Next to airport and noisy. Never been so close to a plane under carriage. bUT taxi still 20 euros. They do this flat rate thing for anywhere out of the airport regardless of distance. Hotel is like walking into a 70s time warp. It’s weird. Pool is nice. Food at pool bar and breakfast inedible. Do not book this!! The money they charge you could stay in much much nicer places. Shame on them. This is not the best of Greece. The best think I can say is there is a bus stop outside to enable you to get the hell out of there. Oh yes it’s also in the middle of nowhere. Unlesss plane spotting is your thing.

Lovely views, quiet and in a great location. The hotel is old and run down and needs much maintenance as there were safety issues both in our room and around the hotel and the pool ladder. The bed was really uncomfortable so we requested two foam single matrices and put them together. You had to hold the shower head to shower, the water was hard and the soap didn't lather. The staff do a great job with what they have. The pool is wonderful,everything is clean and they have a lovely upstairs area to have a drink. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which was fantastic as we didn't hire a car but could get to all the places that we wanted. There is a mini market and tavernas within walking distance which served great food but no bakery in case you wanted something small to eat for lunch. The beaches were within walking distance so another bonus. The breakfast is monotonous and boring with no variation.

The location is good, Svoronata is a small village but there are good tavernas around. The hotel is ok but the bathroom had a very small bath which we couldn’t sit and even hard to stand up for a shower.

Holiday in June 18. Staff are the best, nothing to much trouble. Very friendly, helpful and fun. Pool area is great, beds and umbrella's available. Clean and relaxing. Pool bar serves excellent food and welcoming drinks. Bar in hotel has a lovely terrace for reading, relaxing and watching the swallows swoop in the pool for drinks. The area is quiet and safe. Really easy to get to minimarkets, bars, restaurants and two excellent beaches. Bus stops at the end of the drive for easy access to other parts of the island. Hotel is in the flightpath but this is 20 seconds of noise, and is more of an interest than a hindrance It did not bother us. Food in the hotel was very good and plentiful; We stayed half board and it suited us well. Rooms are basic, cleaned everyday, plenty of towels, shower great, fridge and air con all included. This was our second stay and we will be returning again in the future. Would recommend for relaxed hols in the sun.
