Park Inn Sandton

This was my forth stay at the Park Inn Sandton and without a doubt my FINAL/LAST stay. Every single time I stay at this hotel I find myself regretting my decision. My first stay: Torn Bedding. Second Stay: Aircon didnt work and also not in the room they moved me to. Third stay: Bathroom was still dirty. This was all just over a year ago, so I decided to give them another try. I booked 7 rooms for myself and my colleagues. I have spent SO much money at this place with previous bookings as well. Checkin was SLOW. I got to my room and the room was allocated as a "day-room". The bed was slept in and dirty towels were still on the floor. I was then moved into a bigger room - the actual room wasn't bad. BUT, the hotel is DIRTY. People are sleeping on the couches in the breakfast area. The carpets are DIRTY. Service/Management is non-existent. BUT to top it all off - in the evenings the bar is FULL of "ladies of the night". They are dressed in nothing more than stripper heels and a skirt that should be banned from a "4 star" hotel. These ladies sit there and "wait for work". Where is the hotel management???? Why is nothing being done about this? The City Lodge down the road is 5 stars compared to this dump of a place. Please don't expect any corporate booking from either myself or my company ever again.

I normally wait 2 days before I complain because I think sometimes it could just be me, so I wait to calm down.Firstly no one answers the phone there. They told me it was because they only had 1 line. You have to pay for parking. Never heard of that before. The water pressure was almost non existent and would not get warm. There was no fridge either. For the price you would expect breakfast to be included ( which was way below average anyway.) The WiFi is the slowest ( dial up modem slow) that it's a waste of time even trying. When I did complain, the manager said he wanted to see me. After waiting half an hour I just gave up on waiting for him. Even if they offered me a free stay I would not accept it. Trust me do not stay here. I left and went and stayed at Capital One Hotel what a difference

Great hotel but it could be even better. Attention to detail and arrival experience / welcome experience not memorable. A bit sloppy at reception as this is the second time I have booked the property only to be allocated the wrong room type to the one I would have booked. No personal letter to inform guests of the noise related to on-going works in the pool area although there is a notice at reception.

The staff were helpful and professional. The hotel is well located. I will stay there on my next visit to Sandton

It was good

It's urban/modern chic..close to city centre making it easier for one to move around. Staff is also friendly and welcoming.

This Hotel is located at a short distance from the Gautrain station. Hotel provides shuttle service on the hour within a 3 km radius. Employees are courteous, helpful and friendly.

Shower in the bathroom didn't work properly. Soap dispensers almost empty. Food in the restaurant very basic.
