Kawai and everyone at the reception desk was exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was elegant and delicious. The room was large with a spectacular view of Lake Ashi. There aren't too many restaurants in the area but we discovered a mom and pop shabu shabu just a couple of blocks away that was wonderful. There's a ferry right next to the hotel that takes you across the lake to the ropeway. The Hakone shrine is a quick bus ride away. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I highly recommend visiting the Hakone Open Air Museum.

The bus ride from the train station to the hotel is very long.

Die Lage ist top - direkt am See mit wunderschönem Ausblick.

Das Hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben eigentlich wegen dem eigenen Onsen gebucht - das war allerdings ein völliger Reinfall, zumal es nur ein Raum dafür gibt und Männer und Frauen nicht zugleich gehen können, was als Paar natürlich schwierig ist. Das Abendessen selbst war ok, die Portionen in der Tat winzig, Dessert nicht gut (Eis wurde mit Gelee(!) aufgefüllt), Service war schlecht und um 9 Uhr gab es im Restaurant keine Getränke mehr. Bei der Abreise mussten wir dann mit dem Bus zum Bahnhof, weil das nächste Taxi erst in 45 Minuten verfügbar war. Leider war der ganze Aufenthalt in Hakone samt den Aktivitäten (Bootsfahrt und Seilbahn) ein voller Reinfall - alles erinnert an die 70er und TBH man wartet einfach nur überall. Für € 315 absolut ungenügend.

"Buen hotel en Hakone aunque muy alejado de la estación"

Las vistas del hotel, la limpieza, el tamaño de la habitación y el onsen.

Está muy bien ubicado para tomar el ferry y llegar al arco sin embargo se necesita mucho tiempo para llegar hasta allí con el bus. El restaurante es bastante caro y en la noche no hay mucho en los alrededores para salir a cenar.

"Wonderful experience"

The hotel’s cleanliness and comfort were incredible. Waking up to a view of Mount Fuji was truly beautiful, and the breakfast was also excellent.
