The stay was amazing and the staff were hospitable. However, we had booked for a 2 day stay at the garden villa, but they had overbooked and were able to provide us only with a single day stay. To make up for the discomfort, they upgraded us to their premium villa with private pool and a free houseboat ride for an hour. It turned out to be a relaxing weekend. The restaurant is great and the food tasted great. More choices for dessert would have been better.

It’s a stunning hotel , lovely pool, so many flowers and just greenery everywhere. Loved the outdoor bathroom. Lace mosquito nets over the beds were much appreciated. Just 4 kilometres from Alleppey town which was less than 200 rupees in a tuc tuc to get to. Local village on the doorstep.

We stayed in 4 hotels all over Kerala and at this one the staff appeared disinterested on the whole. We asked for coffees on arrival after a 6 hr journey to the hotel. We were told you can order that yourselves from your room. Zero charm. No warm welcome. This was in stark contrast to the other hotels whose welcome was so kind and caring. The coolness of the staffs attitude was also apparent in the restaurant. A lovely room and food was fine. But staff were mostly unfriendly. Even a smile would have been welcome.
