Restaurant

The duplex alloted was not convenient. The bathroom was downstairs while bedroom was upstairs.Again cupboard was downstairs . The raised entrance to room and bathroom required some efforts to enter . Open bathroom was okay but what when you stare at a mongoose or large insect. Hot water was a challenge. Hot water buckets were to be called . Boiler should be on always at a higher temperature

A nice resort with a good location !

Lighting could be a bit more

Location was great and staff were very nice. They need to invest a bit and maintain rooms. We stayed in two rooms as we were upgraded for two nights. Lake side was lovely. The other rooms were not nice - far too dark, rusty shower rooms in one room and very dirty floor.

Rooms were very dark and quite dirty. If you want solitude this is a good place. But a bit miserable and dingy. Bathrooms were open to the elements and this horrified my mum.

Breakfast was good. The location was nice right on the water.

Rooms were filthy. Staff was not hospitable. Road to get to resort was a narrow one way street and the bus for our group could not get through.

Location is nice, lake front.

- Place was not clean. Floors were dirty, rooms have holes in walls and ceilings where previous fixtures may have been. Split A/C doesn't really work for the whole space. Mosquitoes and lizards able to come in. - Water was warm not hot but okay for the climate. Amenities in bathroom minimal. Outdoor bath a nice touch but non shower space not well maintained. Could use some anti-mosquito equipment. - Staff is possibly overextended but there was little/no follow through on several requests. Extra bed took three calls. Special requests agreed to but cancelled. Room service non existent. - They seem to treat guests based on status or race. Some people seemed to be getting preferential treatment while others were being ignored. - Laundry service is extremely delayed. Took several interactions to get our clothes. - Staff didn't seem to want to fix things; perhaps limited by management policies. The manager, Sophie, seemed apologetic but no change happened and no compensation offered for any missteps.

This resort could only be described as heavenly. I stayed in the private, waterfront cottage with private pool. Every moment was breathtaking from sunrise to a midnight dip in the pool. The food in the restaurant was top tier. I also enjoyed spa services including the synchronized massage and facial—one of the best massages I've ever received. I felt totally reset and ready to take on anything. I couldn't recommend the Punnamada Resort more!
