The Grenville Hotel and Restaurant

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are nice, but every one is different. This is kind of cool, but also disappointing depending on the room you get. The rooms are very clean.

Rooms can be great or disappointing. First time we stayed the room was fantastic. The second time the room was smaller, and not as nice but decent. This last time the room was pretty small and cramped for 3 people. Problem is I paid the same amount for all 3 rooms.

Clean, dog friendly. My granddaughter said it looked like a giant doll house. Beautiful place. Nice location. Slept comfortably

We liked everything! Nothing to complain about

Soft silky sheets, fluffy BIG towels, amazing shower head, comfy bed. Wonderful friendly welcoming staff, kind guests who became instant friends on the big front porch. The walk to the beach is short. Everything about this little getaway was exactly what I needed to regroup. I will be back!

My stay wasn't long enough!

Street parking is tough during heavy traffic times.

I don't know where my original review was, but I know I sent one in about a week after we left. Let me first say that I am very picky, right off the bat if the owners and staff were not so welcoming and helpful, I would have left immediately, But it was just the opposite. From the time I made the reservation (in person since I only live about 3 miles from the hotel) I was immediately greeted by a friendly face. It turned out that this woman was the owner of the establishment and extremely helpful in answering all my questions. I have had many of my European clients stay at the Grenville Inn and not one complaint, in fact one of them comes to NJ every year and stays at the Grenville... NO COMPLAINTS. We had 7 rooms and the rooms were clean and more than adequate. The business meetings that I held (right in the hotel) during the 3 days that we were there were absolutely successful. I attributed this to the fact that everyone was pleased with the service, rooms, location, etc. I have recommended many people who have stayed at the Grenville and not a one had a complaint. I and my clients will return next year (if not sooner) Since it snowed everyday we were there they did not have the benefit of walking the beach and believe me they tried and did their best without complaining.. We have no control over Mother Nature!!! In fact since my company involves only seasonal periods of time, I have invited the visitors from Spain to come back during August when the weather is nicer and we won't be involved consumed with business.. it's in a great area and a place to relax in with very friendly atmosphere!! I can't say enough about our stay and what a success it was!!!! See you all either in September or definitely again at my next meeting. Thank you for your hospitality and helpfulness!!!!
