Breakfast was ok Could get brunch

I was greeted by a man who barely looked up at me. No welcome. And I called the front desk on Sunday morning from my. room and I was told to call back after the office opened. I jsut wanted to. know if there was a brunch that morning. He couldn't answer me.

The brunch while tasty is not lavish by any means but the price tag is a bit steep.

When checking in, we were met with an empty desk, but spoken to by a gentleman from behind a bar letting us know we could sign a paper and take our key that was already in the front desk. It wasn’t a personable reception by any means. It was freezing in the hallways and common areas. The king suite we booked was not actually a suite. The booking was VERY misleading as it noted there would be a king bed and two twin beds. Suite implies multiple rooms, but yet there was only one SMALL room and the two “twin” beds were actually one twin bed with a trundle. Once you pulled out the trundle, one person had to step on the other person in order to get off their bed because it was up against the window/wall. The person having to sleep on the actual trundle part slept under the coat rack, blocked the chair and abutted the other furniture in the room. Barely any room to walk at that point which I assume is a fire hazard of sorts. Continental breakfast choices were mediocre at best. There were hard bagels, two cereal options, a few pastries that were cut up into small pieces, some activia yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. Plan accordingly if you were hoping for other options.

We booked this stay as a last minute whim and we're glad we did. Check in was quick and easy. The gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. It was unfortunate at this stay that the Sunday Brunch was not offered as a large party had an event there that morning. We like it so much we'll be back for a stay in a couple of weeks.

To find a sign in the bathtub after I had water running that said be sure bathroom door is shut and fan is running or the fire alarms will go off. Seems like the sign should be on wall outside the shower / not once you have the water on and water in your eyes
