Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Center

Great comfortable hotel, although not in best location. It is a quiet place and the hotel staff is top notch. But you are a 45 min walk from city center. Also, I thought the rate was very reasonable.

Accommodation in Russia can be very hit and miss in this price-range, even in large global chains. But this Marriot was really nice and good value for money. Impeccably clean throughout, with helpful staff, a brand-new fitness center and a good quiet location. It isn't in the center of St Petersburg but there are easy bus connections and a hotel shuttle to various points of interest in the city, only 15-20 mins travel.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The hotel is new and in great condition. It's a little far away from some of the sights but they do have a free shuttle that runs on a schedule. We never used it and walked instead. There is a nice supermarket a few blocks down and a German restaurant in the complex (as well as another restaurant). Only complaints are that Internet in the room was expensive and we tried to get them to unlock the door to the mini-balcony in our room so we could get some fresh air in the room but they refused. There may have been a language barrier issue, not sure. Also, there is free Internet in the lobby but it is pretty slow. Lastly, there is no pool even though some places list that it has a pool. Overall, happy with our stay though and would stay again.

The hotel was new and clean. The only draw back was the room service for the restaurant. At the time, I stayed there with my wife, we tried to order breakfast and some food to the room but the restaurant and hotel said that they cannot do that since they do not have such a service.

Nice hotel, fresh and clean rooms. The rooms are good for a buisnesstraveller with all the necccessary things for work in place

I have one word to say! "EXCELENT" :))) If you decide to go on business trip, it's a perfect place to be. If you are a tourist you have all comfort you desired!

Great hotel for American travelers I don't want to write any more!

The hotel is exceptionally well maintained, and comfortable. The restaurants are average and their menus expensive for the quality twenty dollars hambergers although good is not good value. The major drawback is the hotel location in relation to the sights in Sr Petersburg. It is out of the way. The hotel has a shuttle to Isaac Square and Sadovaya Station (train to Airport) , but it is not reliable once you are left at the location. We waited for a shuttle for ten minutes before, and twenty minutes after the appointed arrival. It never came. The hotel shrugged off the complaint. The drivers are also surly and do not speak another language

While this hotel is a 25 minute walk from the main drag (Nevsky) you can also take the 212 bus line for 30 rubles or taxi from 200-400 rubles. Rooms are comfortable and quiet Staff speaks English On site restaurant and beer bar I was a lone traveler to meet my friend who lives in St Petersburg. I would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet hotel to wind down after a long day of sightseeing in SPB The hotel also had a on site bank for currency exchange which was always open which I found amazing Free wifi in lobby area as well
