Big, clean and well-furnished room with a beautiful view of the city, with the sea in the background. Only 5-10 minutes or so by cab from the CBD, and 15 mins to Flinders Station by tram - the stop is less than a minute's walk away. It was very handy to have a kitchenette in the room. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, reasonably priced with friendly staff. I stayed in three hotels in Melbourne, and this one was my favourite, even though it's not directly in the CBD.

Fantastic location, room was exactly what we needed for our short stay. Bathroom very clean and great water pressure in the shower. Would recommend the restaurant attached to the Kinson (ViVi E Lascia Vivere) Beautiful food and amazing restaurant setting.
