Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

We really enjoyed the beautiful rooms and facilities as well as the restaurant. The food was exceptional. Unfortunately the staff was not as motivated to please guest as in other similar hotels. It seemed that they would recommend activities that were overpriced and were not always motivated by the best interest of the hotel guest. We experienced a few situations of the hotel booking us taxi fares that were 3x the going rate. We booked a tour through the hotel and it just felt like they were penny pinching on every line item. It is a beautiful hotel so I hope they are able to address this issue.

Great Hotel! very convenient for visiting machu picchu since you can take the train from the hotel´s station and the best service for coordinating logistics. Incredible spa for relaxing after!

Great hotel, great food, great service.

Above all is the attentiveness and service vocation of the whole staff.

From the moment we entered, we were treated like royalty. After a long flight, & drive to the hotel, we were greeted by staff, given some coca tea & told to relax while they checked us in, took our bags, & got our room info. Everything was taken to our room while we ate a quick lunch in the bar area. The hotel grounds are stunning, from the gardens, to the pool & spa area, the game room, & the dining area. Our room was oversized, with a separate living room area big enough for another king sized bed & bar. The views of the mountains were gorgeous! The blackout curtains made it very easy to sleep in late. Definitely staying at this hotel again!

My friend and i have just returned from this hotel and couldnt find a single fault. Staff were incredible, especially 'eloy' and 'ruth' from the restaurant! Very special hotel and well worth a visit! If you are visiting Machu Picchu using the hotels train, i suggest you do what we did, and stay a night either before or after at aguas calientes to give yourself more time at Machu Picchu itself!

Easy to see why this is rated as one of the best hotels in the world

Very nice reception. Hotel was quiet. We didn't try the spa since it's seemed a bit pricey. The gym is small but doubt you're there to get a real workout going. Would be nice if the breakfast was already included.
