Breakfast was delicious the staff couldn’t do enough for you endless amounts of tea/coffee refulls

The room was amazing. The bathroom was gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was fabulous.

Breakfast excellent plenty of choice .Staff very good in asking if I wanted my tea refreshing and extremely polite. I stayed at Wildes to attend my grandson's wedding,which was very well organised and went well. The food was really first rate, and again the staff were again so polite and efficient.

The room I booked through booking.com didn't make it clear that the bed choice was either two singles or a double bed; so when we checked in was not pleased to discover that my son and and I would have to share a double bed when we assumed we would have two single beds. However the reception staff pulled out all the stops and sorted out the problem with a compromise which we accepted. The reception staff deserve a gold star for their efforts !

One off the worse nights sleep I have ever had with a fan in the ceiling constantly running even when you take key card out to cut electric off it still runs. Small double beds. No air con in room. 215 deluxe double room. View from windows looking onto bungalows. Room rate £150 a night not to bad with breakfast. Breakfast was limited basic. Coffee cold out of a flask

The hotel is lovely, food and drinks are expensive but that kinda to be expected. The room was bigger than we expected.

The walls in the hotel room near the bed has a mystery splatter makes down them room 112😳 the cleaners of the room wouldn’t be able to miss it. We saw them straight away in the day light and even more at night time. Only one set of towels for the bathroom even though the room was booked for two people. You get no signal in the hotel and the hotel WiFi is shocking, in the room it doesn’t connect at all and even in the bar area it’s very slow.

Restaurant food was good value and quality

It was very cold, in hotel and rooms even after a room swap from an outbuilding not representative of Booking site images to main building modern rooms it was still very cold.

Very pleasant venue with attentive staff., although the service was slow. The food we had was most enjoyable but not quite to description. I had Calf’s Liver, cooked perfectly but no crispy bacon. When I mentioned I was told it was in the cabbage. What was in the cabbage were cubes if Pancetta, not bacon. My desert was delicious . Generally I believe the food is overpriced
