Ballynahinch Castle Hotel

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, beautiful setting, loved my hikes, outstanding food, lovely staff.

Fantastic will definately return couldn’t fault any aspect of the hotel or the grounds and food yum yum

I wasn’t overly impressed with our visit to Ballynahinch Castle Hotel. The location was pretty and it was unfortunate, due to the weather, we didn’t get to enjoy the grounds which did look lovely. I had previously stayed at Parknasilla and much preferred that resort. To be fair, I think that was a five star property. The TV in the room was too small to view adequately while in bed and the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during our two night stay. We ate at the pub one evening and the hostess took our drink order and never returned with them or set up the table with napkins and cutlery. The waitress who finally did attend to us was the highlight of our visit. I wish I got her name. Overall, it’s not a place I would return to. Again, it’s a pretty property, but not really the caliber of service I look for when on holiday and looking to splurge.

What a beautiful treasure! Charming and elegant, the people, room and property! Many activities are available from relaxing in the generously luxurious rooms to active walks around the well groomed grounds.

The castle has a wonderful rustic and comfortable atmosphere. Our room was spacious with a good modern shower. The views of the river kept changing with the light. Walks were very enjoyable and well mapped. We had dinner in the main dinning room. I had goats cheese soufflé to start , too much cream . We both had venison for main . The crust was nice but too rear and tough . It was served with two potatoes and no vegetable , not a balanced dish. We enjoyed our stay and the walks outstanding.

We loved our stay at the Ballynahinch Castle! From the moment we walked in we were greeted nicely and welcomed. Our room was very cute and had a lovely river view, they congratulated us for our honeymoon. The pub was cute and great to have a drink by the fire. The grounds are so pretty to explore. Breakfast the next morning was the best I've ever had!

The best place to stay in all of Ireland! We’ve stayed there now twice and will keep going back!

Great experience with a grown son. We relaxed, chatted with each other and other guests and ate wonderfully.

This place was AMAZING! We felt like royalty. The staff was amazing and the castle was sooo cool! We loved taking our time in the morning and going for a walk on the grounds! Must go here if get the opportunity!!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Breakfast was outstanding. Bar / Dining was a bit expensive. Room was updated and beautifully decorated!
