Ballynahinch Castle Hotel

Beautiful place to stay. Disappointed in the food. Still definitely a place to stay and relax

I went with some girlfriends and we all loved this hotel, we’ve been talking about coming back soon!

The setting was beautiful with a great view of the river that runs through it. The room was fantastic and very comfortable. Talk about a huge bathtub. We want to go back and spend more time. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends visiting the area.

Perfect in every way. The grounds were stunning, the castle, brilliant, the service amazing. Spend the money, it's worth it.

Excellent hotel but the temperature in our beautiful room was stifling from the heat. I recommend investing in fans for those unusual hot spells. Also, the staff was fantastic except for the exceptionally poor service we had in the restaurant. For a 200 euro meal, our waiter never filled wine and barely attended to us. Given the great service in the pub for drinks and wonderful attention at breakfast, I was disappointed that management allowed our waiter to work in that highly rated restaurant. He wasn’t rude but clearly should not have been working there. Overall, excellent room, facilities, and grounds. Maybe just focus on the small details to live up to experience of other top Ireland castles and properties

Loved this stay, everything was great! The beds could use a refresh but the room and public space was amazing, the dinner at the pub was delicious and the breakfast was great too! Thanks to our check-in staff member, Charlotte - amazing! She was professional and kind, and kept a great composure while multitasking the many guest requests...Stroll the grounds, they are beautiful!

I really wanted to stay in a Castle and this one did not disappointment. The castle and grounds were absolutely beautiful...the staff was excellent. I felt like royalty. P.s. the breakfast and the view from the dinning area was absolutely LOVELY!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Ballynahinch Castle for one night and it wasn't enough! It was warm and friendly and the decor was beautiful. We will be back!

Expedia says this castle is in Galway, but its a lot further to the coast. We didn't mind the drive through the backroads. It was absolutely beautiful. We had room with a view of the river and our own little patio.

We stayed here for a few nights to explore the area , especially the Connemara national park. This hotel surpassed our expectations. There were two restaurants to eat at and both were superb. The hotel staff were all professional. There were even boots and raincoats and umbrellas available for loan to guests of the hotel and this was great for us because that preserved our own footwear . I would say that this place was definitely the highlight of our trip to Ireland !
